Xbox Scorpio: already impressive SDK

 

 

 

After giving several reliable information about the famous Scorpio Project and particularly to the perfume of what is happening in general on the side of the Redmond firm. It seems that Jez Corden Senior editor at Windows Central has even more to tell us about the console and more precisely on the development kits of the machine.

 

 

 

According to him, developers are already impressed by the development kits still flanged of the console, which currently runs at 80% of the power of the machine. He added that the final development kits will be distributed to developers as early as June.

Xbox boss says it's critical to have first-party games ready for Scorpio

 

Ensuring first-party titles are ready for Xbox Scorpio is "critical," Xbox boss Phil Spencer has told fans in a reddit Q&A.

"Having our 1P games ready for Scorpio is critical," wrote Spencer.

"Very focused on 1P games. I'll be careful about when we announce things but I know strong 1P is critical," he added.

The Xbox boss says first-party software is the latest piece in the Xbox puzzle.

"It's a journey. Started w/ focus on hardware, longest timelines. We've rebuilt XBL and OS. Bringing same focus to 1P."

Spencer also revealed that you can expect the Xbox E3 conference to spend more time showing off its first-party titles.

"I want to give our games more time on stage at E3, I sometimes feel like we rush telling the story of our games at E3," he said.

As for if Project Scorpio will be announced at E3 or before, Spencer said he "can't announce this yet".

Many believe Xbox will do a big Scorpio reveal prior to E3 in order to focus on the games at the annual expo.

Lo stesso Phil ha sottolineato di seguito che sarà inoltre importante terminare la lavorazione delle avventure esclusive e proporle al lancio della console, mossa che garantirebbe il successo della macchina da gioco stessa. Dopo aver limato il servizio Xbox Live e lavorato sul sistema operativo di Xbox One, il team della divisione Xbox è quindi alle prese con avventure first party.

Spencer non ha purtroppo aggiunto nulla al riguardo, di conseguenza è lecito ipotizzare che Microsoft svelerà le proprie carte durante l'E3 2017, convention che però non dovrebbe rappresentare il palcoscenico di presentazione per Xbox Scorpio. Rispondendo alla domanda dedicata, il buon Phil ha sottolineato che l'appuntamento di Los Angeles potrebbe essere un buon momento da dedicare agli approfondimenti sui giochi.

L'apertura alle app esterne al market Ms.... leggasi emulatori a tutto spiano compresa nintendo switch e ps4 ( che essendo uguale a livello di architettura di architettura dovrebbe essere una stupidaggine da emulare). Ovviamente ci scherzo sopra ma se davvero decidono di aprire anche alle universal app esterne ( leggasi non controllate) la realtà potrebbe non essere così diversa...

In realtà è già così.

Serve solo l'approval di Microsoft per farle andare online.

Ma l'architettura attuale permette di sviluppare per Windows 10 e andare anche su One.
