Me lo sono trascinato dietro per più di un mese, ma alla fine l'ho finito. Giudizio complessivo positivo, imo nella maggior parte degli aspetti è superiore al primo, sicuramente meglio bilanciato. Forse per plot invece vince leggermente il primo, ma devo ammettere di non essere rimasto completamente soddisfatto da nessuno dei due come scelta effettuata negli alignment. Finisce sempre così, quando seguo una direzione più simile al neutral non mi ritengo mai completamente soddisfatto Niente di particolare cmq, anzi mi verrebbe voglia di riprendere il punto prima del non ritorno per provare un'altro alignment, il problema è che non vorrei eliminare nessuno dei 3 slot che già ho occupato ^^;

Devil Survivor 2 per l'europa è pronto e Nintendo ha già dato l'OK...il problema è che, detta brutalmente, nessun rivenditore lo vuole, quindi non può essere distribuito.
Ghostlight sta quindi pensando ad una soluzione analoga a quella fatta da Gaijinwork per class of hereos 2, ovvero vendere il gioco tramite il loro sito.

Cmq chi era interessato se lo è preso tempo fa, sempre da store online e sempre localizzato solo in inglese, quindi c'è da chiedersi a chi potrebbe interessare. Tanto più che tra due settimane presentano la versione 3ds.

Insomma, alla fine Ghostlight ha deciso davvero di rilasciare DS2 esclusivamente sul suo store online. Ma non è ancora sicuro al 100%, soprattutto perchè dipenderà dai preordini che riceveranno nel giro di un mese. Se raggiungeranno il tetto minimo che richiedono verrà stampato, altrimenti rimborseranno e non lo pubblicheranno più

Dovrebbero inserire i nomi degli acquirenti negli special thanks del manuale. Cmq ci saranno maggiore dettagli al riguardo la prossima settimana.

 

On to other news now.  All you Devil Survivor fans out there will be pleased to hear that we have managed to finalise discussions with our partners regarding Devil Survivor 2 on DS and have decided to go ahead with the following plan.  Devil Survivor 2 will be released exclusively for pre-order through the Ghostlight Webstore with a (TBC) minimum quantity.  Should we achieve this minimum quantity of pre-orders within one month, we will manufacture and release the game.  However, if we don’t reach the minimum then everyone who pre-ordered the game will be refunded and the game will unfortunately not be released.  We realise that we’re asking for a huge amount of trust and support from our fans on this one, but we know that you are a very special lot and you all seem to fully appreciate what we’re trying to achieve in bringing over JRPGs like DS2.  We simply couldn’t do what we’re doing without you and with your continued support for the Ghostlight cause we’re hoping we can give DS2 its best shot at getting a European release.  As a little incentive, if you do pre-order the game, as a special thank you we’ll add your name to the manual

I know some of you have said you’d rather wait for a potential release of the new 3DS remake, which is fair enough, but for anyone who’s sitting on the fence I must say that I’ve really enjoyed Devil Survivor 2 and think that it would be the perfect game for any of you looking for your SRPG fix after finishing Fire Emblem and Devil Survivor Overclocked.

un gioco sconosciuto, disponibile da tempo in america?

dubito che ghostlight abbia il carisma o la sfacciataggine di Vic Ireland, necessarie per riuscire in una impresa simile. Ammesso che il tetto massimo sia bassino s'intende, cosa che però non credo visti i maggiori costi di produzione dovuti alle cartucce.

 

Io comunque non ne vedo davvero il senso. Quest'anno o il prossimo uscirà in occidente (se tutto va bene   ) il remake per 3DS e la gente ovviamente guarderà a quella edizione....perchè scomodarsi tanto ora per l'inferiore versione DS? sì, ok, GL avrà già sganciato i soldi per i diritti, ma mi sembra proprio un tramtram inutile.

Dopo il casino di Overclocked poi!

 

io non supporto l'iniziativa, preferisco di gran lunga cacciare fuori soldi (e comprare direttamente da loro vuol dire avere prezzi ancora più salati) per la versione fisica di Elminage, se pure questa si farà.

Il prezzo deciso da Ghostlight è di 29,99 euro, prossima settimana riveleranno il numero minimo di copie richiesto di preordini. Stanno pensando anche di rilasciare un pack comprendente DS Overclocked, che tra l'altro dovrebbe arrivare prossimamente sull'eShop.

Sono 1800 le copie che deve raggiungere Devil Survivor 2 per ripagare le spese a Ghostlight (incluso il bundle con DSO), i preordini dovrebbero partire a breve (una volta che verranno finalizzati i contenuti della confezione) e se verrà raggiunta questa quantità si prevede un'uscita per fine settembre.

Don’t despair though, as we’re just waiting on final approval of the content that we hope to include with the European edition. We could open pre-orders now, but we don’t think that would be fair without being able to tell you conclusively what you will be receiving.

 

What I can tell you though is that we’re making this fantastic SRPG available as one of two deals:

To break even on Devil Survivor 2’s manufacturing costs, we will need to reach a total of 1800 pre-orders between the two options offered and pre-orders will be open for one month only. If we don’t meet (or come close) to this quota during that time, then everyone who ordered Devil Survivor 2 on its own will receive a full refund while those who ordered the bundle will receive a refund of £24.99 - meaning that you will still receive Devil Survivor Overclocked with the huge £10.00 discount.

 

We’re expecting manufacture to take five weeks so assuming we reach our target and we enter manufacturing when pre-orders close, the game should be released at the end of September. If we reach our target sooner than the pre-order deadline, then we will naturally move into manufacturing before the close of pre-orders, meaning that you would get your game a little sooner.

non si sa come, non si sa a che santo si sono votati, ma ce l'hanno fatta. Devil Survivor 2 in europa ci sarà, anche se ancora non si sa quando.

Chi non ha supportato il progetto ma vuole lo stesso il gioco, no problem: il preoder resterà aperto.
