Bandai Namco announces Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song to arrive in the West

 

Bandai Namco today announces that Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will be coming to North America, Europe, Middle-East and Australasia exclusively through PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 in summer 2015. The company is also pleased to announce that Sword Art Online: Lost Song is scheduled to launch at retail stores in North America, Europe, Middle-East and Australasia for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in fall 2015.

 

“Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song are both poised to bring the action and rich story of the highly popular Sword Art Online anime to life on the PlayStation family of consoles. The popularity of anime and novel has been growing at an astonishing rate and we’re excited to add the Sword Art Online franchise to our company’s illustrious roster of popular anime games.” said Herve Hoerdt, Vice President of Marketing & Digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe.

 

Both Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song feature original stories based on the light novel and anime Sword Art Online. Both games follow the simulated Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (VRMMORPG) gameplay from the Sword Art Online storyline. In Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment, players will play as the main character, Kirito, and fight through all the levels of Aincrad to break free from being locked within the virtual game world. Players with save data from the PlayStation Vita version of the game on will be pleased to learn that some items from that game will be transferrable to the PlayStation 4; additionally DLC from the PlayStation Vita title will be unlockable on the PlayStation 4 at a later date.

 

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is taking route to North America, Europe, Middle-East and Australasia on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

 

With an original story based on the Alfheim Online realm including new and returning characters and exclusive environments, fans will be more than happy to spend more than 50 hours questing in the ultimate Virtual Reality universe! To make it even more exiting, Lost Song will feature all new Aerial Battles and plenty of customization features.

domanda , ma il gioco dove in che arco temporale dell'anime si svolge ? perchè a vedere le copertine sembrerebbe che la prima parte sia stata tagliata

@X_Nantsu90: diciamo che sia il primo che il secondo gioco si svolgono a metà dei rispettivi archi temporali della serie(spero di essere stato chiaro altrimenti dimmelo pure).

In Italia in Bluray è uscita la prima serie e 1 OAV giusto? Deve uscire la seconda ora?

@Scar: sogna, la serie ha venduto uno sputo(nonostante sia così famosa che la conosce persino il mio tostapane), ergo niente secondo serie(anche se io e pochi altri la vorrebbero lo stesso, stessa situazione dicasi di Psycho - Pass 2).  

In compenso probabilmente avremo la seconda serie di Tokyo Ghoul e il suo futuro OAV prequel, che fortunati che siamo eh?  

Edit: ma non c'è anche in DVD? Perché volevo prenderla per me è un mio amico ma non abbiamo questi famosi lettori Blu - Ray(principalmente perché li riteniamo inutili ma questa è un altra storia), quindi saremmo fregati?

No la prima serie è uscita in DVD/BRD. E anche Psyco Pass.

Volevo sapere però se la storia si conclude con la 2a serie dato che voglio prendere i cofanetti e iniziare/finire di vederla.

Fosse stata come Stein Gate avrei preferito unica serie 1 cofanetto e via.

ah capito quindi hanno tagliato tutta la prima parte dell'anime (la piu bella ovviamente ) mentre per la seconda serie hanno eliminato il GOG (ovvimente anche quella la piu bella )

se ti riferisci a sao no , la seconda serie si conclude con un colpo di scena diciamo , quindi molto probabilmente staranno programmando la terza stagione (lo voglio sperare )

SWORD ART ONLINE RE:HOLLOW FRAGMENT USCIRÀ AD AGOSTO
 
Con un comunicato stampa, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe ha annunciato che Sword Art Online Re:Hollow Fragment per PlayStation 4 sarà disponibile a partire dal 4 agosto, con una settimana di ritardo rispetto alla data di lancio comunicata in precedenza.
Tutti i fan della serie potranno divertirsi con una versione HD e migliorata del gioco, uscito in precedenza su PlayStation Vita solamente su PlayStation Vita. Questa riedizione presenta un comparto tecnico rivisitato e una nuova traduzione in lingua inglese, più accurata e precisa.
