Last week’s The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II update introduced main characters Rean, Alisa, Eliot, and Laura, as well as the game’s prologue. This week’s introduces Tovar and Claire, and a village that specializes in hot springs.

    “That’s a little piece of advice my senpai once gave me.”

    Tovar spends his days as a fighter working for the Bracer Guild, a private civilian support group for the empire spread throughout the entire continent dedicated to things like conflict resolution and investigations. Given that his options are limited for actually working as a fighter within the empire, he teams up with a group of people including Sara, an old co-worker, who work with him to reform the guild as they keep going about their day job. While he knows his way around a weapon, what he’s really known for are his custom orbment techniques, which allow him to quickly shoot off his Arts. Having already known Rean and company from the previous game, he encounters her again, having since been left all alone for reasons unknown, and opts to work with her as well.

    Claire Rieveldt (24 years-old, Weapon: Military Revolver)

    “I’m taking it upon myself to end this civil war myself one way or another.”

    She operates as a captain in the empire’s army and is highly renowned for being the best they have. Her appearance coupled with her ability to make quick decisions on how to order imperial troops stationed throughout the rail lines nationwide has earned her the nickname the “Ice Maiden.” She was under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Osbourne, but failed to prevent his assassination at the hand of terrorists at the end of the last game. She also Rean and the others in the previous game, having swapped information with them, and ends up helping her out again as she engages in a covert mission in which she dresses up as a civilian.

    Hot Springs Village of Ymir

    A hot springs village governed by the family of Baron Schwarzer in the northern mountains of the Erebonia Empire. It is said the gushing springs are effective against all kinds of sicknesses. In the winter, the village is hit with heavy snowfall. The emperor has an imperial lodge here, and cable cars go to and from the station at the village’s foot. In this game, we’ll learn the whole story behind Rean’s hometown.

Il video mostra due versioni di Alisa e Laura che camminano e corrono su uno stesso sentiero; per prima viene mostrata la loro versione di Sen, e poi quelle di Sen 2.
Le differenze ci sono e sono nette.
C'è anche un pezzetto in moto (ma si vede malissimo).

The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II will launch for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on September 25, this week’s Dengeki PlayStation reveals.

The magazine also reveals new character Artina Orion, voiced by Risa Taneda. Code-named the Black Rabbit, she has the ability to summon the Claiomh Solais. She is connected to Miriam in some way, but details as to how are unknown. She is also a co-worker of the nobles faction.

Also introduced is the new “Spirit Unification” system. When Rean uses it, he enters an awakened state that boosts his status, changes his attack techniques, and enables him access to special techniques. It’s only disadvantage appears to be that it disables the use of item and arts.

Finally, the magazine also shares details on “Lost Arts.” Players can use three types of special arts by equipping certain types of quartz. EP can be used once per battle this time around, with the gauge for it being exhausted in one fell swoop instead of trickling down over turns as has been previously the case.

    System Introduction

    ~Rean’s hidden power awakened! Special craft “Spirit Union”~

    Demonstrated slightly in the first game, sleeping within the hero Rean is a powerful beast-like ability. In this game, Rean recalls his special craft, “Spirit Union,” which he can use freely during battle. When this sleeping power awakens, Rean’s hair color becomes silver and his eyes turn red. His stats receive a big boost, and his attack crafts change. For example, Hayate (common) becomes Urahayate (awakening), where Rean charges at his opponents with terrific speed, dealing damage to a group of enemies. But outside of physical attacks, everything including his use of items, arts (magic), and even the ability to move, is restricted in this state.

    “As long as there is guidance of the goddess and the wind… I don’t mind suffering.”

    An exchange student from the strange land of Nord Plateau in the northeastern empire. He was living as a nomad, but in order to better understand the outside world, he was admitted to Thors Military Academy. He is the sort of person who can discern the true nature of things without prejudice, and is heavily relied on by the members of Class VII.

    Millium Orion (Age: 13, Weapon: Agateram)

    “I’m a friend to everyone in Class VII!”

    A young girl, accompanied by her puppet Agateram, who bustles about the empire under the code-name “White Rabbit.” In reality, she is a member of “Iron Breed,” an information agency under the direct control of the prime minister. She has an innocent and friendly personality, and her classmates Rean and friends are often surprised about how she speaks of such confidential information so lightly.

    Altina Orion (Age: ?, Weapon: Claimh=Solais)

    “I’d wager there isn’t any point in engaging beyond this.”

    A mysterious young girl who goes by the code-name “Black Rabbit,” and manipulates a jet black puppet called Claimh=Solais. As a supporter of the aristocrat union, she operates throughout the empire in secret. Even before Rean and company, her personal history remains. She has the same last name as Class VII member Millium Orion, a similar puppet, and a great number of other features.
