Plot

In un futuro prossimo, i progressi tecnologici hanno reso possibile misurare e monitorare con precisione i pensieri e la personalità delle persone usando come riferimento lo "Psycho-Pass", uno standard utilizzato per misurare i pensieri. La storia ruota attorno a Shinya Kōgami, un ufficiale di polizia che sfrutta lo Psycho-Pass per lottare contro il crimine.

Oddio, parlare di "un cliché dietro l'altro" per un trailer di poco più di un minuto che non mostra nulla di quanto non si sapesse già mi pare abbastanza azzardato (e d'altronde non credo che nessuno si aspettasse qualcosa di mai visto prima nel campo della sci-fi).
Poi beh, a Urobuchi piace Equilibrium...
Piuttosto ci vedo molto citazionismo.
Comunque, il producer che ha datto che il chara di Reborn dava un'aria adulta alla serie è parecchio cazzaro (non che mi sorprenda, viste le sue precedenti affermazioni su GC)

Di GitS francamente non ci vedo molto (per quanto i produttori tengano ad accostarlo ad ogni nuova serie sci-fi che fanno).

Quella ripresa del palazzo rotante a 0:30 è tipica di GitS, se non fosse per la tonalità bluastra potrebbe venire tranquillamente da Innocence. Certo vabbè, anche da Blade Runner, ma pure GitS si ispirò a BR quindi...
Sempre parlando di Innocence il tipo con la lama al posto della mano a 0:55 ricorda un sacco il cyborg con la chela dei mafiosi...
Poi vabbé, parlando in senso generale di GitS ha anche l'aspetto che (a quanto pare) si segue un'intera squadra di polizia tecnologica modello Sezione 9, e non un singolo protagonista.
