Panoramica di gioco
L'anno è il 2206 e la lega sperimentale FX350 è il banco di prova per i piloti che stano passando dalla lega FX300 alla sfida delle competizioni in classe mondiale FX400. Oltre ai celebri tracciati sull'isola di Makana, la serie FX350 include circuiti di tutto il mondo attrezzati con tecnologia MagLock della serie FX400.

Grazie ad un nuovo arsenale, accelerazione e manovrabilità incredibili, la FX350 è la prova suprema per macchine e piloti.
WipEout HD comprende otto squadre e cinque modalità di gioco: Gara singola, Torneo, Prova a tempo, Giro veloce, Zona : tutte in qualità Full HD a 60Fps e accompagnate da nove brani musicali su licenza remixati in Dolby 5.1.

Come nel pionieristico WipEout Pure per PSP, dal PLAYSTATION®Store saranno scaricabili contenuti extra da utilizzare nel gioco principale. Essi comprenderanno nuove squadre, tracciati ed eventi aggiuntivi per la modalità Campagna.

- torneo: competizione su piu' tracciati

- time Trial: sfida in solitaria contro il cronometro

- giro veloce: sfida al miglior tempo su 7 giri

- zona: l'accellerazione e' automatica e la velocità del proprio mezzo aumenta ogni 10 secondi, all'infinito

- split screen per 2 giocatori: gioca insieme ad un amico sulla stessa PS3 con schermo condiviso

TERREMOTO: intensa scossa sismica che si propaga lungo il tracciato
MINE: sgancia 5 mine
RAZZI: 3 missili sparati frontalmente
MISSILE: missile che può essere sparato all'istatnte per un effetto rimbalzo oppure oppure agganciato al bersaglio per maggiore precisione
PLASMA: arma ad energia che rifluisce nel terreno causando gravi danni a tutto ciò che incrocia sul percorso
BOMBA: bomba ad ampio raggio sganciata dal retro del veicolo
CANNONE: 30 colpi di fuoco rapido
AUTO PILOT: pilota automatico per alcuni secondi
SCUDO: campo di forza che protegge dalle armi o dalle collisioni per un breve periodo di tempo
TURBO: turbo
SANGUISUGA: risucchia energia dagli avversari e la trsferisce sulla propia navicella



MODALITA' FOTO

Durante una corsa, puoi sospendere il gioco e attivare l'opzione Modalità foto, che ti consente di scegliere l'astronave seguita dalla telecamera,
nonchè regolare l'angolo di ripresa, il livello di zoom ecc..
quando scatti la foto, l'immagine viene salvata in formato JPEG nella cartella foto del disco fisso della PS3. la foto viene salvata alla risoluzione
impostata per il gioco

Storia della scuderia: FEISAR has been part of the Anti-Gravity racing circuit since its inception. Feisar has appeared in every Wipeout game, thus being the closest thing the series has to a "mascot."

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: FEISAR is the prototypical beginners' craft, with superb handling characteristics and solid shielding, at the expense of overall top speed.

Motto: "A Friend in Speed"

Storia della scuderia: AG Systems began in Europe, but was bought by a Japanese company in 2042. Their past alignment with the European community may explain why their ships have similar performance to Feisar's. AG Systems was later bought out by G-Tech, much like Qirex was bought out by Tigron. Like the Qirex team, AG Systems was revived with the fall of the F9000 League. AG Systems were declared Champions of the 2206 FX300 Racing League following the disqualification of Triakis.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: Traditionally, AG Systems ships display great balance, highlighted by strong acceleration and decent handling, but shielding has typically been a weakness. In Wipeout Pulse, the shields of the AG Systems ship were given a boost to above-average levels.





Origin (est.): Brazil (2097)

Motto: "With Added BITE!"

Storia della scuderia: Piranha Advancements is the most secretive of the anti-gravity racing teams. They made waves during the F5000 league by arriving with an unarmed prototype and dominating the other teams. Piranha apparently began in China but moved to Brazil early on in their development and have since remained there. Rumors used to abound that the team was run by the military. Their ships are traditionally fast and precise, their designs sleek and drop-dead sexy. However, their FX300 ship, appearing in Pure, has handling characteristics that leave much to be desired.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: Piranha ships in recent Wipeout games have an incredible top speed, only matched by that of Icaras, but this is off-set by slow acceleration, and the high-mass frames cause the Piranha to have heavy handling. As a result, the Piranha is best suited for expert pilots.





Origin (est.): Australia/Multinational (2197)

Motto: "Three Times More Power"

Storia della scuderia:Triakis is a global arms dealer that decided to showcase their wares during the peaceful era of the FX300. As such, their ship is heavy, very fast on straights, and can withstand considerable damage. This comes with the cost of having truly horrendous handling, making it an extremely challenging craft to pilot on technical courses, but a formidable force on high speed courses. They were disqualified from the FX300 league after their reverse-inertia deceleration system was deemed illegal by the AG Racing Commission and therefore AG Systems won.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: During the small period Triakis is available in the Wipeout series, Triakis has managed to show itself as a very heavy, and also a very durable craft, though hard to handle and with slow acceleration. With its high durability and its above average speed, Triakis is a strong opponent, and a hard to drive craft for the starting pilot.

Storia della scuderia: Formed in 2172 when F9000 League superpowers Xios and EG-R merged, EG-X was something of an unknown quantity going into the inaugural season of the FX350 League. It turned out that they were more than ready to go racing, though, scoring a number of high placed finishes with relative ease for a team that did not contest the FX300 League.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: Opting not to release data from pre-season testing for the FX400, the performance of the EG-X chassis has only been seen by those quick enough to catch a glimpse of the sleek ship as it was put through its paces. What was obvious without the data is that the craft is fast out of the corners and appears to have a good top speed, too. So look for this dark horse partnership between China and Finland to be strong contenders at the front of the grid.




Origin (est.): Pacific Islands (2095-2137 re-established 2202)

Motto: "Future Proof"

Storia della scuderia: Goteki 45 is a company based in the Pacific Islands, specifically the man-made island of Makana. The team became infamous for its violent tactics, not looking to compete so much as to destroy as much as possible. Due to their arrogant brutality, their base on Makana was bombed during the time of the F9000 Racing League. Prior to their return to the sport in the FX300 Racing League (which was held on their home island of Makana), the company was placed under new management that sought to reverse Goteki 45's old image of a destructive menace.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave:Normally the Goteki 45 has average handling and mediocre top speed. But while their shields are strong and durable, it is acceleration that has proven to be their strong suit - the thrust of the Goteki 45 is incredibly powerful, allowing it to reach top speed faster than any other machine.




Origin (est.): Russia (2045-2149 re-established 2179)

Motto: "High Speed Revolution"

Storia della scuderia: Qirex is a Russian team that is characterized by having very heavy, yet quite fast ships that have trouble in corners. Their craft are typically favored by more experienced players. Interestingly, the team began racing as a violent team that used their power and speed to muscle down the course, but as Qirex matured, they started racing "cleaner," so to speak. Qirex are poised to make a strong return to the front of the grid in the new FX400 Racing League.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: Up until the F7200 Anti-Gravity Racing League, Qirex built craft that boasted heavy frames and powerful engines, they were among the fastest ships in a straight line and had strong shields, but sluggish handling made them a team suited for only the most experienced pilots. Since their return to the series, the Russian team's machines have lost a lot of their edge, their top speed has been reduced to average levels - however, they are much more maneouverable and the shields are still some of the strongest among their competitors.




Origin (est.): United African Nations (2113-2150 re- established 2181)

Motto: "Achieve"

Storia della scuderia: Assegai was initially an African team, but was bought by Piranha Advancements during the F9000 League, but were treated as a separate entity from their new parent company. Note that an "assegai" is a spear or javelin used especially by the Bantu peoples of South Africa. Assegai Developments' original craft is fast, light, slender and sharp pointed and even colored brown, much resembling an actual assegai.

Caratteristiche dell'aeronave: The newest version of the Assegai seen in Wipeout Pulse is a throwback to their original design featured in Wipeout 3, a lightweight craft with agile handling but weak shielding - however, the extremes between these two parameters have been lessened a bit. The Pulse Assegai is a good ship to use for pilots of all skill levels.

Online si potranno affrontare gare su singolo tracciato oppure tornei, si potra' giocare in 8 e ci si potra' dividere in squadre di 2. Inoltre sara' possibile la chat vocale durante le gare.

Per chi non ha ancora un'auricolare/mic bluetooth consiglio il jabra bt150, si trova da mediaworld e costa sui 15 euro, e' lo stesso che c'era in bundle con warhawk:

TORNEO

Organizzeremo ovviamente un torneo all'uscita, la mia idea e' quella di partecipare in squadre da 2 , visto che il gioco lo permette. Quindi sfidarsi prima in gare con armi, senza ed infine singolarmente sempre prima con armi e poi senza, le iscrizioni sono aperte
