Mi son sempre chiesto perché Microsoft butta soldi in Giappone tutte le volte

Assodato che Switch ormai difficilmente può ambire a superare i record di distribuito/venduto in un singolo anno del DS, vuoi per problemi di distribuzioni ma anche per semplice saturazione del mercato, ragionando un po’ sul futuro, se effettivamente a fine ciclo dovesse essere la console più venduta di sempre, con Switch 2 potrebbero ambire a superare il record dei 9M in un anno del DS, a livello totalmente teorico. Voli pindarici basati sul quasi nulla, ma ormai il mercato giapponese è più interessante da guardare in prospettiva futura che constatare ciò che è oggi.

Io continuo a confermare la mia previsione: Switch raggiunge (o manca di pochissimo l'obiettivo) il 3DS al 31 dicembre.

Con una Pro piazzata a settembre e una buona distribuzione potrebbero effettivamente avvicinarsi, diciamo che se contiamo anche la prima settimana di gennaio che fa sempre grandi vendite le probabilità aumentano considerevolmente. Se parliamo invece di distribuito, considerando che al 31 marzo erano già 20M e che il 3DS è a 25.2M trovo sia molto probabile che il distribuito lo superi già al 31 dicembre.
