[PSVITA] Tales of Hearts R (Topic Ufficiale) - 14 Novembre 201414 Novembre PAL

E così, dopo il remake di Tales of Innocence (anche lì c'è stata aggiunta la R), ecco arrivare sulla portatile Sony una altro dei Tales of che non hanno mai toccato le nostre sponde.

L'originale su DS presentava la possibilità di scegliere se acquistare la versione con intermezzi in CG o in animazione classica.
Fortunatamente per la versione PSVita è stato scelto di riproporre la seconda.
E proprio il character design di questo Tales of Heart mi colpì particolarmente per qualche motivo che ancora oggi ignoro. Sicuramente è uno dei giochi che più mi ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca per la mancata localizzazione (almeno in inglese), insieme a Soma Bringer e Grand Knights History.
Ma se per entrambi i titoli appena citati si riusciva a trovare una qualche traduzione/patch (seppur incomplete) ad opera di gruppi di fan, il titolo Namco non ha avuto la stessa 'fortuna' e anzi i vari team che hanno tentato l'impresa hanno sempre abbandonato il progetto.
Non credo che questo Hearts R arriverà mai in occidente (purtroppo), visto che Namco è forse troppo oberata a lavorare sulla versione nostrana di Xillia e forse Xillia 2, ma la speranza è l'ultima a morire...

Ad ogni modo il gioco è in uscita a 2013 inoltrato (un generico Q1/Q2) ed è stato aperto la homepage ufficiale:

Tales of Hearts R follows the story of Kor Meteor, a brave young man living in a small village by the sea, as he sharpens his fighting skills under the watchful eye of his grandfather. Impressed with Kor’s growing skill, his grandfather bequeaths to him a special type of weapon known as a Soma. Soma users must possess exceptionally strong Spiria, the source of all life from which the human mind and will are derived.

Armed with his Soma, Kor soon encounters a young woman named Kohaku Hearts who has been placed under a spell by a mysterious witch. As Kor attempts to lift the spell, he accidentally shatters Kohaku’s Spiria Core, the source of her emotions. Kor must set out on a journey to find a way to make Kohaku’s Spiria whole once more.

When it comes down to innovation and new means to excite J-RPG fans; TALES OFTM dev. teams’ ideas are always top-notch. Starting from the praised “Linear Motion Battle System”, the Japanese brilliant minds managed to build the “Aerial Chase Linear Motion Battle System.” Players will be able to see this exciting new feature through the screenshots and see how they can move freely in the air and experience fast-paced aerial battles that will be sure to blow enemies away.
