Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One [Topic Ufficiale][PS3]

Insomniac ha finalmente svelato il progetto segreto in esclusiva su PlayStation 3. Si tratta di un nuovo Ratchet & Clank, sottotitolato All for One, che sarà caratterizzato da una modalità cooperativa per quattro giocatori dove si potrà controllare non solo i due celeberrimi protagonisti ma anche Quark e Nefarius. Il focus del gioco sarà ovviamente incentrato tutto sulla collaborazione degli utenti, sia nella risoluzione degli enigmi che nella nascita di devastanti combo.


Parla Chad Dezern, il Direttore dello Studio della Insomniac Games:

Ciao a tutti. Mi chiamo Chad Dezern e sono il Direttore dello Studio della Insomniac Games in North Carolina. Sono qui per comunicare delle straordinarie notizie. Abbiamo lavorato nell’ombra da gennaio 2009 e ora è tempo di emergere alla luce del sole e mostrare a tutti la nostra creazione. E’ viva!

Siamo lieti di annunciare che stiamo lavorando intensamente sul primo titolo della serie Ratchet & Clank giocabile da uno a quattro giocatori in modalità cooperativa, online/offline, drop-in/drop-out: All 4 One!

Sapevamo fin dai primi incontri che volevamo dare ai giocatori la possibilità di giocare nel Ratchet Universe con Ratchet e Clank contemporaneamente. E dopo aver iniziato, ci siamo sentiti in obbligo morale di includere anche il capitano Qwark e il Dr. Nefarious; i possibili sviluppi che scaturivano mettendo insieme questo gruppo erano semplicemente troppo interessanti per lasciarsi sfuggire l’opportunità. La lora maldestra idiozia, acerrimo antagonismo, e indefessa malvagità riflettevano perfettamente il modo in cui giochiamo All 4 One qui in ufficio. Non vedo l’ora di raccontare in che modo i quattro finiscono per ritrovarsi assieme. . .

Nonostante attendessi molto il nuovo Ratchet, devo dire di essere rimasto impassibile al filmato di presentazione, non mi ha entusiasmato come i vecchi titoli, hanno dato più importanza alla co-op che a una nuova storia e a nuovi personaggi...

Vedremo più in là, per il momento resto in disparte e osservo senza sbilanciarmi, ma ho la sensazione che abbiano dato più importanza allo sviluppo di Resistance 3 penalizzando questo.

tutti i topic dei titoli esclusivi di solito li apro io ad eccezione di GT5 che mi hanno soffiato e resistance o killzone dove li ne so poco di fps...

Secondo me sarà stupendo giocare in coop e non vedo l'ora di saperne di più. Però non ho capito se ci sarà anche il singolo oppure se è una specie di gioco online...

ragazzi secondo me il single player inteso come storia non ci sarà.

Hi everyone. My name is Chad Dezern and I’m the Studio Director at Insomniac Games’ North Carolina studio. I’m here to share some exciting news. We’ve been hammering away in our secret shack in the middle of the woods since January 2009. Now it’s time to emerge into the sunlight and hold our creation aloft. It’s alive!

We’re excited to announce that we’re hard at work on the first ever one-to-four player cooperative, online/offline, drop-in/drop-out Ratchet & Clank title, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One!

We knew from our earliest meetings that we wanted to give players a chance to play in the Ratchet Universe with Ratchet and Clank at the same time. And after we started, we felt an almost moral obligation to include Captain Qwark and Dr. Nefarious; there was just too much comedy potential in bringing this group together for us to pass up the opportunity. Their bumbling idiocy, prickly antagonism, and unfettered evil was a perfect reflection of how we play All 4 One here in the office. I’m looking forward to telling the story of how the four of them find themselves together . . .

The game is about cooperative play through and through. We want to make it easy to get together with friends and family, get in a game and have fun in the Ratchet universe. We’re working hard to capture the feeling of fighting through amazing battles with other players, whether they are on the couch next to you or playing online half-a-world away.

Our official reveal happened at the PlayStation Press Conference during gamescom in Cologne, Germany. We will be following up with a panel at Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle on September 4. There, I’ll be joined by other Insomniacs: North Carolina Production Director Shaun McCabe, Senior Writer TJ Fixman, and Senior Community Manager James Stevenson. We’ll talk about all things Ratchet (including comics and action figures), and we’ll show all of the content from our announcement.
