Dai creatori di " Total Annihilation " e altri titoli, arriverà sul mercato " Planetary Annihilation ", RTS già finanziato il 14 Settembre 2012, tramite Kickstarter. Il progetto ha raccolto ben 2,229,344 dollari su 900,000 richiesti ! Questo nuovo RTS porta con se una ventata fresca di innovazioni e si avranno a disposizione più mappe da gestiore contemporaneamente, o meglio, pianeti, pronti per esser colonizzati, per espandere le proprie basi e/o lanciare attacchi da differenti posizioni nella galassia !
Ogni pianeta del Sistema Solare, avrà caratteristiche diverse e con gli obiettivi raggiunti saranno disponibili : Pianeti d'Acqua (con unità navali a disposizione), Pianeti formati da Gas, Unità Orbitali, Pianeti di Lava, Pianeti di Metallo, Lune...
Si potranno giocare le classiche partite 1on1 (ma non solo) su singoli Pianeti con rispettivi Low Cap di Unità oppure partecipare a 12 ore o più di gioco in una battaglia galattica formata da 40 giocatori ! Non mancherà anche la modalità contro il Pc, invitando anche i vostri amici.
Potete ancora Pre-ordinare il gioco direttamente dal sito ufficiale, siccome il Low Cost offerto dalla campagna di Kickstarter è ovviamente concluso già da un pezzo...

War Machine
Planetary Annihilation’s rendering engine is brought to you by the team that developed the rendering engines for Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander. Client-Server Networking Architecture
Other than Total Annihilation, which was asynchronous, most Real-Time Strategy games use a synchronous networking model, which means that all the computers in a given game are held back by the slowest machine. The Planetary Annihilation engine uses a client-server model so that the “heavy lifting” can be done on a game server, freeing up gamers’ machines to engage in bigger battles with more players!
Advanced Modding features
