Non so quanto possa essere apprezzato dai giapponesi, essendo un gioco che strizza l'occhio più agli occidentali.

forspoken fa il minimo che pensavo. d'altro canto credo sia stato pensato per il pubblico occidentale e infatti i giapponesi così lo hanno trattato...come un gioco occidentale. cioè non comprandolo

Considerato quanto (poco) ha venduto Forspoken in Uk stiamo parlando di un debutto retail europeo non troppo diverso da quello in Giappone. Questa dovrebbe essere stata l'ultima settimana di PS5 prima della vendita senza restrizioni nei negozi, sarà interessante vedere come reggerà da qui all'uscita di FF XVI.

Tranquillo che non se lo filerà nessuno nemmeno in occidente

Al netto dei vari problemi tecnici e strutturali che lo hanno falciato nelle recensioni, è proprio un mischione difficile da comunicare e da vendere. È un jrpg isekai, ma con estetica occidentale e protagonista americana che si esprime come uno scaricatore di porto. A quale target è dedicato di preciso?

cioè capisco che vogliano fare giochi che piacciono nel mercato più grande che è l'america...

 

però è un po come dire che negli anni 80 invece di fare ken il guerriero si fossero messi  a copiare he-man...queste mentalità che hanno adesso in queste aziende mi sembra una scemenza. tra l'altro mi pare fecero sto ragionamento pure in epoca ps3 (non square magari ma altre software house jap) con risultati scarsi...neanche ne hanno fatto stima...

 

cmq sia io credo che come unità vendute alla fine in occidente qualcosa metterà assieme. sony lo metterà nei bundle, nella linea essential, sull'abbonamento ecc...e alla fine farà fruttare in qualche modo sti 2 anni (?) di esclusiva. 

 

...però come è difficile inventarsi una nuova ip di successo eh...nemmeno la formula open world ti da determinate garanzie...poi si chiede a xbox di inventarsi di punto in bianco tutta una line up invece di comprarsi interi pubblisher

Non mi pare sia stata interrotta nessuna striscia particolarmente lunga. Mi sembra di ricordare che già nell'autunno scorso ps5 sia stata sopra.
