Persona 5: Royal sold 45,000 units on Switch in its first week in Japan. Not bad for a the third re-release of a game, six years after the original release. Globally, I expect it to do very well, but curious to see how it holds up in Japan over the next year or two.

persona 5 non fa moltissimo per switch...ma se andiamo a vedere non ha esordito neanche molto diversamente da giochi nuovi come soul hakers tutto sommato

in linea con ps4...la playstation in jap ha un andamento costante (pure ps3. vita...) fa un milione all'anno. tranne nell'anno di punta in cui fa di più. il vero problema (?) è il software...apparentemente almeno.

PS4 ha fatto oltre 9 milioni, ps3 10 milioni, le console Sony quello fanno.

A fine ciclo farà tranquillamente meno di PS4, i pochi studi che sviluppano puntano comunque al mercato occidentale e i giochi che tirano sono minimo di 2-3 gen fa. È un ecosistema abbastanza sterile.

Poi è chiaro, se i parametri di analisi sono quelli del mercato PS2 allora il discorso cambia.

Considerando il mercato non è improbabile che faccia meno, specie con il disinteresse evidente di sony ( che per me pagherà caro), ma sappiamo tutti che causa crisi non si poteva fare molto di più, ma un conto sono i dati, un altro è un pensiero o previsione.
Per ora i dati dicono vendite leggermente inferiori a ps4, ma richiesta alta, lato sw invece anche a causa proprio di questa distribuzione scarsa i dati sono bassi anche considerando un forte incremento del digitale già alto su ps4, ma se le console non ci sono, di certo le sh ( square in primis) non lanciano i loro giochi rischiando il quasi sicuro flop.
Vedremo questo inverno se finalmente risolveranno i problemi, specie se consideriamo le grosse previsioni per il prossimo anno molto alte.

Il fatto è che io dubito farà 9 mln a fine ciclo e sarà in calo rispetto a ps3 e ps4

Questo era il suo momento, poi con il successore switch cadrà nell'oblio totale

 

 

secondo me il picco di ps5 si avrà l'anno prossimo. il suo momento (?) non poteva mai essere quest anno perchè non è uscito una mazza. l'anno prossimo invece uscirà un sacco di roba tra cui final fantasy esclusivo e non in comune con ps4 (a meno di clamorosi dietro front su questo aspetto)
