Il fatto e' che furono le vendite dell'anno scorso ad essere fuori parametro.

Quest'anno fa 70mila a settimana in pieno agosto, che sono numeri assurdi in senso assoluto che sembrano poche se confrontate ad un 2020 che credo sia un anno non ripetibile.

E cmq Switch è ancora 100k avanti.

Complimenti a nintendo, purtroppo va detto che è più per le vendite imbarazzanti del software PS che altro, non che switch non stia macinando incredibili risultati ma non avere un singolo gioco vendere più di 2k è veramente patetico..

Mi viene da chiedermi se le vendite similmente buone di ps5 in jp non siano in buona parte frutto di scalping e crolleranno inesorabilmente a problemi di stock risolti. Penso non sarà l'ultima top30 only switch che vedremo questa gen ad essere onesto.

No è che è stata una scelta volontaria, eh. Il mercato giapponese è sempre uno dei più grandi, ma la proposta che fa sony non è adatta. Inoltre le terze parti non riescono a sviluppare titoli attraenti per la piattaforma a parte quelle poche grandi produzioni di grande successo in occidente. Oltre a non essere stati in grado di produrre molti nuovi prodotti commercialmente validi. I piccoli sviluppatori sono in spesso in grande difficoltà e non riescono a essere competitivi in uno scenario globale. È tutta una serie di fattori.

Poi è chiaro che nemmeno loro hanno intenzione di investire per migliorare la situazione, probabilmente perché i guadagni sarebbero inferiori a quanto otterrebbero investendo le stesse risorse in occidente.

In questo caso è il mercato occidentale, dove fanno più soldi e le scelte riflettono questo. Non è che l'obiettivo sia l'abbandono del Giappone lol
