È una saga un po' appannata, ma è sempre stata molto forte. Uscendo su una console lanciatissima potrebbe tornare ai fasti di un tempo, anche se il nuovo episodio pare una roba da cellulare...

C'era uno spinoff platform per PC-Engine molto carino, se questo vende bene chissà che a qualcuno non prenda il matto e ne faccia anche uno per Switch.

dal 2007 a oggi questi sono i risultati migliori (tutti su console nintendo ovviamente)

poi giustamente konami ha deciso di spettere di farli...

....fino all'intervento di nintendo. però insomma fino a che è uscita mi sembrava una serie in salute.

se questo qui sfonda quota 500k ltd diventa il gioco di maggior successo dai tempi di ps2 (20 anni fa)

Distribuire 500k solo al lancio è un’enormità, mi chiedo se siano conteggiate anche le copie digitali perché da quanto ho visto su e-shop sta facendo davvero bene. È pur vero che a livello di preordini fisici (Amazon, comg, gli altri negozi di cui ora non ricordo) era spesso al primo posto quindi è plausibile abbia il debutto più alto di sempre per la serie (250k fisico + 100k digitale) e considerando il periodo potrebbe diventare il titolo della serie più venduto di sempre già per inizio anno prossimo, Konami probabilmente ha ormai trovato la sua quadra, pachinko e giochi medio-piccoli (di budget) su Switch, vedremo che vorrà farsene delle sue ip che pare scontato non voglia più sviluppare.

Beh, in realtà Momotaro Densetsu è una serie da sempre molto forte in jap ed è storicamente legata a Nintendo, visto che è nata su Famicom ed esplosa su Super Famicom. Poi passò su PSX (come tante altre serie giapponesi) perché il N64 in Giappone fu debolissimo ma non fece particolari exploit, continuando a piazzare le sue 500/600mila copie per gli episodi principali.

 

Per noi è una serie del tutto irrilevante (una sorta di gioco da tavolo con elementi di simulazione) e sono più interessanti gli spin off (alcuni jRPG e un platform niente male).

Aspé, da quello che so io è nata prima la serie rpg ma si è fermata a tre episodi principali e qualche remake, non ne esce uno nuovo da 20 anni. Paradossalmente lo spinoff gioco da tavolo ha riscosso molto più successo

E' vero! E' che ne hanno fatti talmente tanti che non ricordavo più l'evoluzione.

 

Ricontrollando in effetti i primi due (su NES e PC-Engine) erano dei jRPG abbastanza canonici.
