In che senso?
Se confrontiamo Switch tra Giappone e Spagna si ha qualcosa come 60.000/100.000 contro 4.000.. se XBox 3.000/4.000 contro 1.000.
Numeri indicativi chiaro.. ma non capisco la relazione tra i numeri di XBox in Giappone e la disponibilità in Europa guardando la Spagna...
Nel senso che Xbox ha sempre venduto pochissimo in Giappone piuttosto che in Europa. Vedere numeri incredibilmente bassi in Spagna (unico paese che rilascia numeri sulle console) per series x addirittura di molto inferiori a quelli giapponesi fa pensare che le console distribuite siano davvero poche.
Che sia così in tutta Europa mi pare pacifico, il sold out di series X (non S) è documentato ampiamente nei soliti forum che seguono le vendite.

Confrontando il totale venduto da XB360 e PS3 fino a metà 2015 per gran parte dei mercati europei presente nel relativo thread su installbaseforum con quanto venduto da XB360 in Giappone, si può dire che XB360 abbia venduto in Giappone più che in Spagna ma meno che nel Regno Unito, Francia, Germania e Italia.
La Spagna tradizionalmente è, fra i grandi mercati europei, quello maggiormente pro-PlayStation (e quindi sfavorevole a Xbox).
XBO però ha venduto meno di XB360 ovunque e il calo è stato particolarmente accentuato in Giappone, dove infatti ha venduto molto meno di quanto fatto in Spagna, Italia, Francia, Germania e Regno Unito.
Forse deriva da questo il tuo stupore (tieni pure presente che il Giappone ha una popolazione di 125 milioni di abitanti).

One uscì solo in una dozzina di paesi in tutto all'inizio e arrivò nel resto del mondo quasi un anno dopo (tra cui il Giappone). Probabilmente sull'abbandono del jap pesarono i molti investimenti infruttuosi fatti nel corso degli anni di 360.
Ora però xbox è sulla buona strada se non altro per ritornare al peso che aveva prima di One, almeno relativamente alla base installata.

Secondo me i numeri attuali sono da prendere con le pinze: fintanto ci sono problemi di approvvigionamento in occidente i numeri del Giappone potrebbe essere influenzati da scalper e mercato dimportazione.. poi è evidente che la Spagna ha un mercato console svariate volte inferiore a quello giapponese.

After a disappointing start for the physical version (the game has been primarily downloaded), things have improved with FIFA 22's boxed sales declining relatively slowly, at least compared with previous iterations. This week FIFA 22's boxed sales have dropped just 12% over the week before.
Far Cry 6 is still at No.2 with a 42% drop in sales week-on-week. The Ubisoft game sticks ahead of Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, which raced up two places to No.3 after a 12% sales increase. The rest of the Top Five includes Animal Crossing: New Horizons at No.4 (up four places with a 17% sales increase week-on-week), and Minecraft on Switch at No.5 (up two places after a 6% sales improvement).
The highest charting new entry is The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. The third game in the horror series debuts at No.6. Bandai Namco was wary of the potential impact of the console transition on the Dark Pictures series, and indeed physical sales are down 27% compared with the launch of last year's title. However, the numbers are too small to draw any meaningful conclusions until we see the download data.
48% of House of Ashes boxed sales were on PS5, 36% on PS4 and 16% on Xbox.
Elsewhere in the charts is My Friend Peppa Pig, which is new at No.26. As a kids game, this is the sort-of title that was never going to do big numbers week one, but will likely keep selling over a long period of time. 74% of sales were on Nintendo Switch, with 16% on PS4 and 9% on Xbox One.

In terms of recent releases, Metroid Dread falls from No.3 to No.7 after a 58% sales tumble. Back 4 Blood drops 76% in sales during its second week, and falls from No.4 to No.13. Sega's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles slips six places to No.17 after a 34% sales dip. And finally Alan Wake Remastered is down to No.31 after a 32% sales drop week-on-week.

Vabbé series s in occidente è facilmente reperibile, su amazon è anche calata di prezzo. Non penso che quelle vendute in jap se le rivendano

Nintendo Switch hits 3 consecutive years as most sold console in Spain. 6 of the top 10 selling games in 2021 are Nintendo’s.
FIFA 21 is No.1 for a fifth consecutive week in the UK boxed charts, according to the latest GfK data.
EA's football game dropped 11% in sales week-on-week, but comfortably holds the top spot despite two new contenders for its crown.
The game that came the closest is Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy at No.2. This is the second Square Enix game based on Marvel IP after last year's The Avengers. Compared to that game, launch sales are 58% lower for Guardians. of course, Guardians of the Galaxy is a smaller game in scope and won't have the same financial expectations. It's also worth noting that digital data is not currently available. 63% of launch sales were on PS5, 19% on PS4 and 18% on Xbox.
Just behind Guardians is Mario Party Superstars at No.3. Mario Party may not get the same headlines as other big Nintendo titles, but it is a significant seller over time. The last title in the series, Super Mario Party, is in the Top Ten Switch games in the UK.
Mario Party Superstars boxed launch sales are slightly below Super Mario Party (6% lower), but this doesn't factor in digital sales, and the download market has accelerated significantly in the three years since that game launched.
As a result of the new games, Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 falls to No.4 after a 23% dip in sales.
Also new to the charts this week is Ubisoft's sports game Riders Republic, which makes No.8. 52% of sales were on PS5, 28% on Xbox and 20% on PS4.
Last week's new horror game The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes falls from No.6 to No.21 after a 52% sales slide.
Elsewhere, racing up the charts this week is F1 2021 at No.12, which is proving popular as the real world sport heats up. And Deathloop returns to the Top 40 at No.35 after some pricing activity on the game.
Finally, Nintendo's recently-released Metroid Dread slips out of the Top Ten to No.15 with a 34% sales drop. The game is now on the cusp of overtaking Metroid: Other M on Nintendo Wii to become the sixth best-selling Metroid game of all time, and that's without digital download figures.
