A me continuano a impressionare i numeri del software. Mario, Smash, Zelda sono di gran lunga i più venduti delle rispettive serie e cresceranno ancora, Mario kart è a 17 milioni ed è una remaster, Splatoon vende più di molti tripla a. E tutto questo con una base installata ancora limitata. Non oso pensare cosa potranno vendere Pokémon e animal crossing

Quasi 37 milioni in due anni e tre mesi, con quel prezzo, son numeri che Nintendo non ha mai fatto. Wii, per dire, costava quasi 100 dollari in meno.

Secondo me è un'IP con potenzialità ENORMI.

NINTENDO SHARES FY3/2020 Q1 EARNINGS RELEASE

 

 

- Super Mario Maker 2 has sold 2.42 million units
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold another 1.2 million units to hit 17.89 million units total
- Switch hardware and software sales reached 2.13 million units (13.2% increase on a year-onyear basis) and 22.62 million units (25.9% increase on a year-on-year basis) respectively
- 3DS hardware sales totaled 0.2 million units (44.9% decrease on a year-on-year basis), while software sales came to 1.48 million units (49.7% decrease on a year-on-year basis)
- sales of downloadable versions of packaged software and download-only software for Nintendo Switch showed particularly steady growth, bringing digital sales to 30.6 billion yen (65.3% increase on a year-on-year basis).
- mobile related income reached 10 billion yen (10.0% increase on a year-on-year basis)
- net sales reached 172.1 billion yen (including overseas sales of 131.7 billion yen, or 76.5% of the total sales)
- operating profit came to 27.4 billion yen
- as a result of foreign exchange losses of 12 billion yen and other factors, ordinary profit came to 22.2 billion yen 
- profit attributable to owners of parent totaled 16.6 billion yen
- many key titles are expected to be released by other software publishers as Nintendo continues to offer attractive titles that are filled with variety
- for 3DS, Nintendo will continue to leverage the platform’s rich software library to appeal to consumers purchasing game hardware for the first time, while continuing to drive sales of evergreen titles that leverage its hardware install base
- for mobile, in addition to Dr. Mario World and Mario Kart Tour, Nintendo will also focus on ensuring that more consumers can enjoy the applications that we have previously released.

this, mi ci sono divertito un fracco. Gioco in stile dreamcast/ sega arcade che regala tanti feels se si è vecchietti come. Ma imho un seguito lo droppano prima o poi

Penso che da settembre i numeri di Switch con l aiuto della lite saliranno di brutto.

E' cmq oltre i 2 milioni di copie, che per una nuova saga appartenente ad un genere di nicchia è un risultato inaspettato ed importantissimo.

 

Secondo me prima o poi un nuovo capitolo lo vedremo.
