Nuove informazioni:

  • four difficultly levels are included. "Newcomer Mode", "Casual Mode", "Normal Mode" and "Expert Mode". It goes without saying, but the difficulty should increase as you go up the scale, with "Expert Mode" providing the toughest challenge;
  • also coming from the site, we have our first glimpse of Mega Man 11's Robot Masters. They're shown via silhouettes in the image below!

io ho capito che è sviluppato con unity...sbaglio?

certo non l'hanno fatto ancora una volta a 8 bit ma nemmeno mi sembra fatto con tutto sto budget.

magari migliora ma per ora mi sembra un po "generico" come grafica

  • does include 8 robot masters, which you can pick from right at the start;
  • Mega Man can still charge up his shots and slide;
  • Capcom won't say who is composing;
  • four different difficulty settings;
  • normal offers a traditional Mega Man experience; 
  • fans who really want a challenge can tackle superhero mode; 
  • both casual and newcomer modes make the game a bit easier, adding in more platforms for jumping.

  • Camera is now slightly higher than previous games, and zoomed out a bit;
  • Mega Man's helmet will change shape when he equips different weapons;
  • Capcom may give the slide move its own dedicated button;
  • all of Mega Man 11's weapons are attached to a direction on the right analog stick; 
  • includes an entirely new gameplay mechanic that will impact Mega Man's moment-to-moment action;
  • the gear icons featured under Mega Man's health hint at this new mechanic.

  • Capcom's staff had a hard time figuring out how to continue the Mega Man franchise after Keiji Inafune's departure;
  • the Robot Masters are former allies of Dr. Light;
  • the team experimented a bit with Mega Man's design, and at one point he was "super masculine";
  • several people pitched new Mega Man game ideas before Kazuhiro Tsuchiya got the go-ahead;
  • the dev team re-designed old stages from Mega Man 5 through 10 to test the new art style.

Game Informer ha intervistato Kazuhiro Tsuchiya e Koji Oda. Ecco i dettagli:

  • the goal is to take the past and combine elements that really worked from each title in the franchise;
  • the aim is to bring Mega Man back, and make him better than ever;
  • they also want the game to be accessible to a younger generation;
  • the team wants to make sure they don't just recycle past elements for Mega Man 11;
  • the team knows the core gameplay works, so they didn't want to push too much in a new direction;
  • the goal is to make sure visuals and controls work in harmony to have the tightest controls possible.

  • The team wants to bring back the intuitive nature of the relationship between robot masters and their weapons;
  • the devs feel figuring out what robot masters were weak to has gotten to difficult in recent games;
  • the devs are finding Mega Man 11 a tough game to make;
  • designing unique robot masters and stages is a challenge;
  • the team has members who worked on Mega Man games, industry vets who haven't worked on Mega Man, and new devs;
  • the dev team has strong ideas of what Mega Man should be, so sometimes they clash, but this helps create a ton of great ideas.

Informazioni relative a Mega Man Legacy Collection:

  • Digital Eclipse, the company that handled the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, is confirmed to be working on the new Switch releaseThey're not involved with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 or the re-releases of the Mega Man X games, however, as was the case with other platforms.
  • A new feature will be added to Mega Man Legacy Collection on Switch. "Rewind" functionality will be included, so if you make a mistake, you can go back in time before you made the error.
  • Digital Eclipse has also separately confirmed that the extra museum content on 3DS and its amiibo challenges will be included. The developer has also teased a couple of other updates, which may include the aforementioned rewind feature.

  • after you defeat a Robot Master, you're taken to a blueprint-like screen where you can test out the weapon;
  • the game has a feature/mechanic that changes the gameplay up more than any feature/mechanic throughout the series
  • when you do use it, it changes the moment to moment gameplay; 
  • the composer has worked on the Star Force series, which means it could be Akari Kaida, Yoshino Aoki, Marika Suzuki, or Mitsuhiko Takano.
