mi sembra esagerato alzare il forecast in base a questi dati che sono spinti dal film e da zelda. i prossimi quarti saranno pure buoni ma non così buoni secondo me. 15 milioni mi sembrano la cifra più realistica a cui può aspirare switch da qui a marzo.

In Giappone non c'è proprio partita.
Nintendo è troppo dominante rispetto il resto della plebaglia.

Nel corrente anno fiscale Switch batterà il record detenuto dal Famicom delle vendite totali di software in Giappone, record che resisteva da decenni.
L'unica altra console che forse ha battuto quel record era la PS1, di cui però si conosce solo il dato relativo all'intero continente asiatico e non in specifico del Giappone (da qui l'incertezza).
E' indubbio che il computo finale delle vendite software di Switch si attesterà ben più in alto di 226 millioni.
Ossia Switch è destinato a detenere il record giapponese sia del venduto hardware, che del venduto software.

Nintendo Q2 results for fiscal year 2024 (Switch hits 132.46 million sold)

Zelda fa solo 1 milione in questo trimestre, è un dato buono? Probabilmente avevano distribuito molto di più rispetto al venduto nel precedente...
Pensavo di più però in effetti Nintendo distribuì 18m ed ebbe 15m di venduto, quindi alla fine 1m nel secondo trimestre è buono considerando l'inventario che avevano. Andrà sicuramente molto bene durante le festività.

Come era prevedibile per Zelda il secondo trimestre sarebbe stato ben lontano dal portarlo a 25M visto la differenza tra distribuito e venduto, oltre al calo di vendite moderato ma presente in ogni mercato. Da adesso che non ha più questo problema dovrebbe tenersi su numeri decisamente più interessanti, non è un gioco che smetterà di vendere per i prossimi 5 anni quindi superare i 30M non sarà un problema.
Pikmin 4 fa quanto ci si poteva aspettare viste le vendite enormi fatte in Giappone, ad oggi si può dire essere tra le più grandi delle ip "secondarie" (Yoshi, Kirby, Fire emblem e Xenoblade).
Mario kart continua la sua cavalcata su numeri senza senso, con proporzioni rispetto alle console vendute che aumenta di trimestre in trimestre, il prossimo capitolo, per quanto probabilmente non ripeterà queste cifre, sarà decisamente più esplosivo, e sono sicuro che l'investimento sull'ip sarà stato davvero massiccio.
Lato hardware mi aspettavo un calo decisamente più marcato, guarda te se non riescono davvero a vendere 15M nel loro 7° anno sul mercato (per quanto mi aspetti un calo consistente in questo trimestre).

per Nintendo la console Switch ha venduto 31,77M in giappone (a fine settembre)
Famitsu ha come totale 30,77M (1 ott)
quindi hanno 1m di differenza.
per quanto riguarda ww penso che basti fare il peggior Q3 della storia di switch con circa 7m per raggiungere il forecast di 15m. perchè poi dovrebbero fare 1m nel Q4.
