Intanto confermato a quanto pare lo spin off con Statham e The Rock

Fast and Furious: Future Movies Will ‘Talk More About Han’
Fast and Furious fans have wanted #JusticeForHan and it looks like they may get it. After the record-breaking box office opening of F. Gary Gray’s The Fate of the Furious, it is no surprise that Universal is looking ahead to the future of the franchise and where the final two installments could go. However, there is one big question looming over the series, “Is Han Seoul-Oh still alive?”
Sun Kang’s character was spectacularly killed in a car crash at the end of 2006’s Tokyo Drift, while the convoluted timeline revealed in of Furious 7 that Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw was the cause of the accident. However, his popularity immediately had audiences hoping for a return. This has been particularly charged after Fate, which didn’t even reference the character. Series writer Chris Morgan hinted that he was trying to find a way to bring back Han before Fate‘s release and has clearly developed an idea.
Speaking to CinemaBlend, Morgan finally addressed the elephant in room and revealed that yes, we will return the story of Han at some point:
“Justice for Han. I think you’ll learn a lot more about it, and I don’t know if that hashtag will be the appropriate one to put on it down the road. But I can tell you this: We will definitely be talking more about Han.”
Fate is set to start a new trilogy of films, and there is also confirmation that Morgan will start to focus his efforts on at least one spin-off film starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. While Shaw looks like he has fully embraced his heroic new persona, producer Neal Moritz says that they are certainly not taking the murder of Han lightly:
“Look, I am literally the biggest Han/Sung Kang fan in the world. But I would say this. From the initial conceit of Deckard, I’ve never really thought of him as a bad guy. He was definitely against our team but he’s a guy with a code who loves his family.”
That Deckard was then so welcomed into the family one movie later has raised some eyebrows, so it’s good to know it’ll be addressed. Could it be that Shaw didn’t actually dump off Han? We have already seen Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto take on an evil streak with an ulterior motive, so has Shaw also been playing the long game? Statham himself teased that not all is what it seems:
“That whole episode has not fully detailed exactly what happened. I’m not going to say anything more than that! But [writer-producer Chris Morgan] likes to annoy the fans and please the fans and get all these angry protests. So, more to come.”
