Durante la Game Developers Conference di San Francisco, Microsoft ha annunciato l'introduzione del supporto Cross-Network Play per Xbox LIVE: questo vuol dire che gli sviluppatori potranno integrare nei propri titoli il pieno supporto per il multiplayer cross platform tra PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 e altre piattaforme.
