Kyle’s Story
Holy Rock: the European defense base. This facility, set up by the military industrial complex, serves two purposes concurrently: secret research and the base of anti-Gigant operations. Almost entirely unmanned, instead predominantly managed by the AI “Annie Third,” in the wake of an attack on it by a Gigant, it’s come to be used as a regional defense base. As part of Holy Rock, Kyle Griffin, resonant with the power of Yorigami, was engaged in the fight against the Gigants.
Kyle Griffin (voiced by Wataru Hatano)
Male / 17 Years-Old / English / 180cm tall
A young man with an affinity for Yorigami while also having strong ambitions and high intelligence. Although he was born to a distinguished family, he has a twisted personality that makes him hard to please, believed to likely be because he was not blessed with the love of his mother during childhood.
Kyle’s Supporting Characters
Conner McBride (Voiced by Tarusuke Shingaki)
Male / 30 Years-Old / English / 180cm tall
Kyle’s friend. Once a member of the special forces, Conner is a veteran warrior who’s fought in countless battles. However, the everyday Conner is friendly and gives no sense of his personal history. He’s referred to by Liona as someone who “lacks motivation” and “irresponsible.”
Liona Kogarasu (voiced by Yu Kobayashi)
Female / 16 Years-Old / Japanese / 165cm tall
Kyle’s friend. A serious girl who battles Gigants. On her days off, she enjoys her secret hobbies of game-playing and is a collector of retro games. Her parents are journalists, and she’s said to have enlisted in the Gigant wars “in order to the unseen world.”
Battle System
Parties consist of three characters. In Kyle’s story, they consist of Kyle, Conner, and Liona. In battle, enemies appear in rows together as part of their own party. You’ll win or lose depending on whether yours or the enemies’ HP reaches zero.
3-Command Battle and ActivePoints
The battle system makes use of three commands, which the player can assign to the Circle, Triangle, and Square buttons.
Each command costs AP (ActivePoints), which is shared throughout the party. Thus, when your AP is low, everyone’s actions are limited. Conversely, when your AP allows for it, you can perform several actions in a single turn.
Your selected commands are shown on the left of the screen, and you can change between characters to queue their individual actions up using the left and right d-pad buttons. While your AP is reduced as your allies attack, it will recover during enemy actions. Regardless of whether the target is friend or foe, you’ll recover more AP depending on whether the action is more powerful. Additionally, your AP will carry over after battle, meaning finishing the battle with a small amount of AP will become problematic for the next fight.
3-Command Layout
- Circle Button – Set an attack action
- Triangle Button – Set a defense action
- Square Button – Set either an attack or defense action
ActivePoints
Outside of battle, you can increase or decrease your AP depending on your choices during events. AP will also decrease if you accidentally step on traps while roaming the dungeon.

Info:
The Three Heroes’ Yorigami
Yorigami are unknown, half-life beings that fight alongside the three protagonists. Yorigami are able to unite with humans and act as a weapon against the enemy Gigants. These beings are very intelligent, as well as capable of having conversations with humans.
Ichiya’s Yorigami Babakiri (voiced by Kenta Miyake)
Babakiri specializes in direct, large sword attacks. He both speaks and is strict like a man of the military, and is chide when it comes to speaking with Ichiya.
Kyle’s Yorigami Ansara (voiced by Nobuya Mine)
Ansara specializes in medium-range attacks with a crossbow. Though he’s one to often spew a lot of troubling remarks, he understands Kyle and, when necessary, pushes him forward along his journey.
Nil’s Yorigami Kukurukan (voiced by Mitsuki Nakae)
Kukurukan specializes in long-distance magic attacks and assistance. She carries the air of a high-class woman about her, one that knows little of the world at large. Though she mainly intends to supervise Nil as she goes about her work, there are times where she’s especially keen on fighting together. As such, their personalities are highly complimentary with one another.
All three of the Yorigami are pictured on the game’s box art.
Battle Distances
When you’re fighting against a Gigant, the viewpoint will change depending on how far away your characters are from the enemy. There are three distances you can fight at: short distance, middle distance, and long distance.
Short Distance
When fighting at the short distance, you’ll need to make use of short-range weapons like swords and axes. Do battle with physical attacks.
Middle Distance
When fighting at the middle distance, you’re further away from the range of the Gigants’ physical attacks and you’ll need to make use of mid-range actions like magic to strike the enemy, as well as assist those in the short distance.
Long Distance
When fighting at the long distance, you’re furthest away from the Gigant, and can use rifles and lay traps on the battlefield, as well as assist those in the middle and short distances.
Loki
Loki is a Gigant boss that appears during Kyle’s chapter.

Info su gameplay e sulla storia di Nil, una dei tre protagonisti:
Nil’s Story
Nil’s chapter mainly takes place on the tanker, “Sea King,” stranded in a beautiful coral reef. A secret base has been built atop the Sea King. As Yorigami-compatibles, Nil and her group throw down with a Gigant in order to protect the neighboring fishermen. However, as new types of Gigant they’re unfamiliar with appeared, Nil and friends’ peaceful everyday has changed. And thus, they are caught up in the world of Gigant battles.
Nil Phineas (voiced by Yoshino Nanjo)
16 years old. Nationality unknown. She is a battle expert who trained in the opposition of enemy Gigants from a young age. She has demonstrated enough strength to be considered one of mankind’s strongest in long distance combat, but she hasn’t had much of a normal life, so she can be quite naive. Her hometown and fishing, and more than anything else her sisters, are what she loves most.
Redney Syphias (voiced by Ikumi Nakagami)
17 years old. American. She is compatible with “Korogami,” which are clones of Yorigami. Like her sisters, she was also an orphan, brought up by someone she calls “Father.” As the oldest among the three sisters, she does the daily mother-like duties, such as cleaning and laundry. But she is also a power fighter that specializes in close combat.
May Mizerele (voiced by Mami Tamura)
15 years old. Nationality unknown. Like Redney, she is compatible with “Korogami,” the Yorigami clones. She is not much different in age compared to Nil, but she is quiet and acts as the “younger sister” among the group. She loves her “Father” and older sister Nil, and wants to be as strong as Nil someday.
Forced Parasite System
Ichiya, Kyle, and Nil are fighting against the Gigants with the parasite power of Yorigami. However, when a certain amount of turns have passed during battle, the Yorigami become completely parasitic, and players must fight while their own HP gradually decreases. This is called the “Forced Parasite” state.
Fighting in the Forced Parasite State
During battle, you can perform various actions at the cost of AP (Active Points). However, in the Forced Parasite state, rather than AP, attacks and recovery abilities cost HP.
When continuously using actions in this state, you’ll consume a large chunk of HP, meaning you’d soon land in a pinch. However, when your AP is exhausted and you can’t move, but the Forced Parasite state is active, it’s possible to perform actions regardless of AP and turn the tides of battle.
