Uscito il corto in 3DCG con lo Unicorn e l'Arcane che finalmente si trasforma (per esser fatto fuori rapidamente ).

Uscito anche l'ultimo BD, alla fine sono solo state rifatte delle animazioni (che per andavano già benone) e corretti degli errori di continuity.

Particolarmente interessante la parte legata alla produzione e soprattutto...

The interview was made when they were working on the final eps, past episode 20. Putting in CG is something they were forced to because of production constraints. Though Tomino did think about putting CG in  before being forced to do so. But he doesn’t really like CG because he thinks it’s not fun to give mechas in anime a photorealistic look with CG. He thinks digital hand drawn anime will continue and everything won’t be CG. He hopes hand drawn anime will continue till the end of the 21st century.

The way that things are actually progressing is a secret, but this isn't anything too important so I'll go ahead and say it. One film about 1 hour 40 min. in length is in development, and we have tentative permission for a second film. If there isn't a good audience turnout for the first film, it won't end up happening. That's reality. That sort of realism makes me angry. TOHO took about three months and said, "Well, it's like this, yeah? Even if it's 1/20th as popular as your name. we won't do it," but if it's 1/20th or 1/30th of the turnout we can probably make a second film. I hope to get everyone's cooperation."

Francamente non ero così convinto che il piano sarebbe andato completamente in porto quando fu inizialmente annunciato.

Il mio unico appunto di cinico pessimismo è che G-Reco si è pappato un decennio della vita di Tomino.

Dispiace particolarmente perché aveva ancora tanti progetti in testa, ma realisticamente parlando era difficile che potesse portarne a compimento tanti altri vista l'età ed il livello di controllo che lo caratterizza.

Io invece spero che si tolga dalle balle il prima possibile e che trovino un nuovo director giovane, capace e pieno di idee che svecchi un po' la formula.

Tomino a mio parere è bollito già da un po' di tempo, con l'aggravante che si accanisce pure sui suoi fallimenti invece di lasciarli andare, come faceva giustamente notare anche Tufio.
