Thanks to the start of the London 2012 Olympics Sega climb to No1 for the first time in 5 weeks on chart with ‘London 2012: The Official Video Game’(+25%).

‘Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes’ (-8%) drops to No2 after a 5 week unbroken reign at the top and Sega can also celebrate the success of ‘Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games’ which climbs 5 places to No3 (+21%) – a best ever chart position for this title, which has been out for 38 weeks on Wii and 25 weeks on 3DS (previous best was All Formats No4 in week 7 this year, the week after the 3DS version launched). Nintendo’s 3DS XL launched on Saturday 28th July and is only the 2nd videogame hardware format to launch on a Saturday, the last time was for N64 on 1st March, 1997.

There were also 4 new 3DS software titles launched this week of which 2 are Nintendo first party, also launched on Saturday 28th (New Art Academy & Freakyforms). However, it is only Nintendo’s ‘Pokemon Conquest’ on DS that makes the Top 40, in at No17 - the Pokemon brand is currently the 10th biggest unit shifter of all videogame brands tracked over the last 15 years. For the record, the only new 3DS title to make the 3DS Top 20 was ‘New Art Academy’ at No9, one of the few titles that are exempt from PEGI ratings.

Kingdom Hearts rimane ancora stabile e boost per il software 3DS, flop in confronto al dominio Vita, ma non male, anche se Freakyforms Deluxe è andato (giustamente) malissimo.

tutti sti commenti super etusiastici per qualche salita di posizione di vari giochi 3ds quando e' evidentissimo che parliamo di cifre molto basse sia per mancanza di uscite sia per l'evidente riapparsa di moltissimi vecchissimi giochi.
e non dimentichiamoci che e' uscito il 3ds xl o si fa finta di niente?

E allora? Si commenta il risultato positivo in ogni caso. Sempre a frignottare e tirare frecciate polemiche, hai un pochino stancato.

si è uscito il 3ds xl sabato (quindi conteggiato per meno giorni del solito) e infatti ci son molte risalite in UK di diversi titoli (4 se non erro) e di parecchie posizioni, mentre KH tiene molto bene la posizione rispetto al debutto. penso proprio derivi da quello il comportamento del sw 3ds.

un comportamento questa settimana senza dubbio positivo.

direi che fa bene anche il DS, considerando che non è più la console di riferimento, con alcuni giochi (tra cui l'esordio di quel Pokemon così strano) mentre le regine sono ancora ormai in maniera stabile le due HD (360 in particolare). tra i vari titoli, direi che Batman stupisce per longevità, non trovate?

certo i numeri son bassi ma sta cosa vale per tutto il mercato UK che in questo ultimo anno è calato mostruosamente. chissà se risente della crisi, oltre che di una saturazione delle home e di un mercato portatile meno incisivo che in passato. io ribadisco poi che i numeri delle chart PAL non li sappiamo leggere particolarmente bene (a volte si crede che all'esordio chissà che numeri facciano anche titoli di alto profilo, ma non è così in realtà; la verità è che i numeri settimanali non li abbiamo nè siamo abituati a capire bene il loro tenore, cosa più semplice ovviamente per le chart Jap, mentre anche il mercato US ormai con i pochi dati rilasciati non si fa capire particolarmente bene nel suo tenore del medio termine)

la chart olandese invece non conteggia ancora il lancio del 3ds (lo sarà la settimana prossima), pure essendo la week 30 (le chart olandesi sono allineate in maniera diversa rispetto alle altre)

Kingdom Hearts supera alla grande il test più duro per molti giochi 3DS non Nintendo negli scorsi mesi: la seconda settimana. Ora vediamo se si conferma anche alla terza. Per il resto, le Olimpiadi stanno facendo il loro dovere sia per il gioco ufficiale che per Mario & Sonic.

E' vero, ovvio. Rimane che comunque ha retto molto bene. In ogni caso, adesso c'è pure maggior curiosità per capire cosa farà la prossima settimana.

Non un buon debutto per l'XL in Inghilterra. Solo circa 10k in un solo giorno. C'è da dire che, al contrario del Giappone e dell'America nel prossimo futuro, la console è stata lanciata senza Mario, però poteva / doveva fare di più. Probabile che NSMB2 spingerà la console quando arriverà, comunque. Oltre al fatto che il mercato inglese si conferma in grossissima difficoltà rispetto agli ultimi anni, ormai sarà alla pari con Germania e Francia, se non sotto.

Sarà anche un giorno, ma non è buono. L'articolo dice che le Olimpiadi possono aver influenzato abbastanza il lancio ( console lanciata in un momento dove l'attenzione è stata diretta verso tutt'altro), però rimane basso. Ma ripeto, con NSMB2 è certo che vedremo numeri diversi. Rimane comunque il fatto che l'Inghilterra è (e temo lo sarà fino alla fine) il territorio più ostico per il 3DS. Basti pensare alla posizione dei due Mario nelle chart inglesi e in quelle degli altri paesi d'Europa.

...Vabbè che al momento l'Inghilterra sembra ostile ai giochi punto, ma questo è un altro discorso
