As I mentioned, these new additions include a completely new breed of characters known as Giants. These gargantuan characters are about 3 times the size of a standard Skylander and use their girth to their advantage in addition to their elemental class’ powers. Although the Portal will be crowded, you can use 2 Giants simultaneously during gameplay just as you can 2 normal sized figures, or mix and match between the 2 sizes. You can use these behemoths to pluck trees and boulders out of the ground to hurl at enemies or use them to move entire sections of ground at will. Their power lies in their size and you will be glad you have them on your side in the new adventure.
- the new regular sized Air type Skylander is now called Jet-Vac (formerly Vac-Eagle)
- The new regular magic type Skylander is now called Pop Fizz (formerly Alchemist)
- The new Life Giant is now called Tree Rex (formerly Tree Wrecks)
- console version of the game will include Tree Rex, Jet-Vac, and a G2 Cynder
- 3DS version of the game will include a Tree Rex, Pop Fizz and a G2 Cynder
- 16 New Characters 8 Giants and 8 Regular
- new Molds for G1 Characters
- 8 new "LightCore" Skylanders. 4 are G1 Characters and 4 are G2 Normal sized characters
- LightCore Skylanders will have exclusive powers and light up
- The Only Confirmed LightCore Skylander as of now is LightCore PrismBreak
- all 8 Giant's will also light up but they are not "LightCore" Characters
- Level Cap for the Game has been Raised form 10 to 15
- new Branches will be available.
- Mega Blocs deal made for Skylander Mega blocs in stores this fall
- Nintendo Power will be revealing 4 Skylanders in every mag until the game launches

- Gioco
Pregi:
- Il collezionismo è una fottuta droga
- Il personaggi sono strafatti (come me ) bene.
- E' semplice ma divertente e longevo.
- Coop a 2 locale
Contro:
