"The annual E3 show is the world's marquee video game conference and trade show event that draws a critical mass of gaming enthusiasts from all over the globe," said Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "This year, we want to build buzz ahead of E3 by hosting our own Pre-E3 show that will tie the viewing party attendees from each city with online viewers through Flickr, Twitter and Facebook."
To mark the debut of the first annual KONAMI Pre-E3 Show 2011, the viewing events in each city will give a select number of journalists, gamers and KONAMI fans a front row seat to a big-screen viewing experience that will showcase for the first time, new company announcements, exclusive interviews with developers, and never-before-seen game trailers. More cities, viewing event venue locations and online registration details will be announced soon!
Additionally, this year's KONAMI Pre-E3 Show 2011 will be simulcast exclusively on several major online sites and gaming broadcast outlets around the world. KONAMI will also promote and stream footage and updates from the festivities on KONAMI.com.
Computer and video game companies, business partners, media and industry analysts from over 90 countries will converge on the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 7, 2011 to June 9, 2011 to attend this year's E3. The event is one of the largest conventions held in Los Angeles. Last year E3 attracted about 45,000 attendees and nearly 400 exhibitors.
