Leipzig/Germany. September, 2010 - Firehazard Studio and World Events Productions, Ltd. are proud to announce an agreement giving Firehazard Studio the rights to produce a Video game based on the widely popular animated series "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs" for various gaming devices including Nintendo 3DS and Apple Iphone.

The Game is expected to release in Q3 2011 and will feature all iconic characters from the classic "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs" animated series in a brand new Artstyle by Patrick Reinemann / Reinemann Illustrations and the awesome Soundtrack from Dale Schacker. The Programming of the Game will be done by Turrican Creator Manfred Trenz/Denaris Entertainment Software.

Chris Strauß, Managing Director of Firehazard Studio, said about the agreement, ever since my childhood, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs has been a part of my life. I have always wanted a video game based on the series. Finally, this wish seems to have a chance of becoming a reality. Along with millions of other fans since Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs hit our airwaves in the 80s, we at Firehazard Studio have all been in love with the powerful Star Sheriffs and there almighty Star ship Ramrod and we couldn't be more thrilled to see Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs the very first time on a gaming device such as the Nintendo 3DS.

Sinceramente non lo trovo molto sensato, la nuova guardia in Giappone non se lo filerà neanche di striscio e in USA credo neanche visto che l'effetto Far West è finito da tempo.
In Italia vabé... ammesso che arrivi lo conoscono 4 gatti e vale anche la stessa situazione Giappo e USA.

Ma meno male invece che hanno preso questa serie che era bruttina già di suo, ci mancava solo che gli americani continuassero a rovinare capolavori come Macross o la Corazzata Spaziale Yamato
