Visto Sword of Destiny su Netflix.

 

Tutto molto bello, coreografie al top, sequenze coi cavi aerei spammate senza vergogna (ma siii!), storia condita da flashback e salti temporali che si lascia comunque seguire senza troppi sbattimenti e un rooster di personaggi bello polposo che trapianterei di sana pianta in un vg beat em up.

 

L'unica cosa atroce è il lip-sync del doppiaggio inglese (orrendo ) e la fotografia che a volte smarmella troppo. Il d.o.p. è ameregano e si vede.

 

Pazzeschi come sempre Donnie Yen e Michelle Yeoh che hanno 53/54 anni ma ne dimostrano 20 di meno.

 

Palma d'oro per il miglior faccino a Natasha Liu Bordizzo (padre italiano ) che in quanto a gnoccolosità rivaleggia con la Ziyi del primo capitolo:

 

 

 

 

 

 

C'è pure Mike Chang di Glee! Per fortuna confinato per 3/4 di film in gabbia.

Il design di Godzi è fottutamente inquietante. Un Godzilla molto diverso da quello del film di Edwards sia a livello stilistico (ma sono entrambi bellissimi) e sia nel rapporto con gli esseri umani. Nel film di Edwards era sostanzialmente il buono della situazione. Qui pare cattivo, fetente e devastatore dell'umanità intera 

 

 

A quanto parte Dynit riuscirà a portarlo anche cinema nostrani nel corso della prima metà del  2017 per una uscita limitatissima ad un solo weekend in data/luogo ancora da stabilire.

Scherzi a parte un'occhiata gliela darò (sono grato ad Anno per aver realizzato Nadia ma quel mattone di Evangelion è difficile da dimenticare) ma ho paura per cosa possa aver combinato con le sue idee, quindi mantengo delle basse aspettative
