anni fa -dopo aver visto l'immagine dello studente con le carte io invece ho sperato (ma sapevo che non era vero) che fosse tipo baten kaitos

Final Fantasy Agito XIII has been given a rebranding by Square Enix. At yesterday's Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier event in Tokyo, the publisher announced that the game's title is now Final Fantasy Reishiki, or in English, "Final Fantasy Type-0."
Director Hajime Tabata took the stage at the event to detail the name change and also provide the latest details on the game.
Most significantly for those who've been waiting for the game since it was first announced as a cell phone title years back, Type-0 now has a release time frame. The game will see release this Summer -- more specifically, before the hot late summer period, according to Tabata. It will span two UMDs -- a first for Square Enix.
The game is currently in the middle of voice recording. This appears to be a major undertaking. Tabata said that the game has 14 main characters, and a total of 30 to 40 characters with speaking lines. He joked that all these characters are important, so he wouldn't cut any even when the producer, Yoshinori Kitase (seated right next to Tabata at the time) suggested it.
Tabata promised a major voice cast for the game, and at the event we learned of two participants. The event's MCs, Kenichi Suzumura and Takahiro Sakurai, will have roles in the game. These two already have major Square Enix roles under their belt. Suzumura is the voice of Zack in Crisis Core. Sakurai is the voice of Cloud Strife.
So why the name change? The reason was simple, joked Tabata. "One day, I felt that Final Fantasy XIII and Agito XIII don't really have anything to do with one-another."
More seriously, he said that they changed the name with the view of future developments for the title. "The name has the character for zero in it, but this isn't meant to mean that it will depict the origins of the Final Fantasy series. Instead, it means that it is the starting point for a Final Fantasy series that has a new direction."
Kitase, who hosted the Fabula Nova Crystallis part of the conference, added that the name change coincides with what the development team views as a new start for the game as development begins accelerating in approach of release.
It should be noted that despite the name change, Type-0 is still a part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. It features the same broad mythology as other entries in the series. Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, and now Final Fantasy XIII-2, are still its sister projects.

http://www.siliconera.com/2011/01/25/lose-units-but-use-reinforcements-to-defeat-foes-in-final-fantasy-type-0/Now that it’s been unveiled (… again) Dengeki Online has some commentary from Yoshinori Kitase about Final Fantasy Type-0.
The keywords for the battle system are "magic in action." Weapons in the game are imbued with magic. As an example, the screenshot above shows Rem fighting an Empire Army unit. She has four commands: Fire ST (straight?), Dancing Dagger, Thunder MW (multi-way?), and Cure. Machina and Rem are the protagonists in Final Fantasy Type-0, but they are far from alone. The PSP game has an additional 12 lead characters for a total of fourteen playable party members.
Before battles begin, players will have to strategically move characters on the world map. You send three members out at a time and they could die in battle. The game doesn’t end there. Final Fantasy Type-0 lets players replenish their forces with additional units. That’s part of the game’s system, which is designed so defeat an enemy bit by bit with several groups of reinforcements.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is designed to be a single player game where you can enjoy the feeling of a multiplayer system without gathering your friends to play. You can gather your friends too since Square Enix also developed a multiplayer mode where you can earn points (it isn’t clear what these do) by aiding other players. Multiplayer sessions are initially limited to three minutes, but this time can be extended if another player is doing well.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is slated for release this summer in Japan.
