GRID 2 - RECENSIONE (XBOX 360)
Sviscerato l'atteso corsistico Codemasters
Imporsi come vera alternativa, in un mercato monopolizzato da pochi "grandi" come quello dei videogiochi di guida (Simulazioni o Arcade che siano) è un'operazione oltremodo difficile. Scontrarsi con Forza Motorsport e Gran Turismo è impresa a dir poco impossibile, e per insidiare concretamente un Need for Speed (tanto per citare l'arcade di punta) occorrono idee nuove; freschezza che nel mondo delle corse videoludiche manca da un bel po'.Codemasters, tuttavia, ha dimostrato da tempo di avere diversi assi nelle sue maniche, dapprima trasformando Colin McRae in DiRT - stimato arcade game sulle corse rallystiche. Poi riportando in auge come mai nessuno prima la F1 videoludica: una delle sue operazioni ad oggi più riuscite. Ma la softco britannica non si è accontentata, andando ad inserirsi anche in quel particolare contesto che chiamiamo "Ibridi", ovvero quei corsistici arcade che, per un verso o per l'altro, strizzano l'occhio alla simulazione. Race Driver GRID, nel 2008, è stato pioniere di questa nuova branchia dell'automobilismo digitale, cresciuta e sviluppatasi sostanzialmente alla sua ombra. Con GRID 2, in arrivo il 30 Maggio per console e PC, Codemasters vuole fare il bis, spingendosi in un terreno leggermente diverso (e meno accidentato) rispetto al predecessore. In questo caso, infatti, non si tratta di ricercare un compromesso tra Arcade e Simulazione, ma semplicemente di inserire un videogame chiaramente arcade (anche se un po' più rigoroso) in un contesto realistico - quello di una competizione internazionale con tutti i crismi del caso. Il risultato, come leggerete nelle prossime righe, funziona veramente bene: Codemasters ci regala un racing game che probabilmente non passerà agli annali (magari fosse arrivato un anno fa...) ma che impegna, diverte ed intrattiene. Un videogame che saprà soddisfare chiunque fosse in astinenza da racing.

Yes, I lament the loss of an in-car view, as GRID 2 had me racing from a third person perspective for the first time in years. Along with the over-the-top drift handling I was initially on the fence - but damn it if I didn’t have a blast. While a part of me wishes GRID 2 had gone the simulation path, it really seems to deliver in depth of content, driving model, and particularly some spectacular and thrilling environments. Edge- Grid 2 Review Edge:Codemasters had a hard act to follow in Grid, but with this sequel it’s delivered a dazzling package that can proudly take its place among the best racing games of this generation. It not only smooths off nearly all of the awkward edges that have plagued the studio’s ongoing attempts to cohere its racing games with driver-focused storylines, but it does so with enough pomp and spectacle to send current-generation hardware off with a memorable bang.

Lo recupereró quando calerà il prezzo, ho amato il primo grid , ma questo secondo capitolo arriva troppo tardi e con la grave mancanza della visuale interna, la quale dopo averla provata la prima volta non ne ho piu potuto farne a meno.Ma un demo esce?

Recensione imho perfetta, che ha confermato i miei dubbi. Troppo troppo arcade, sia per il modello di guida che per il tipo di gare proposte e l'assenza di visuale cockpit. Per non parlare dell'impossibilità di modificare il setup dell'auto: manco l'areodinamica...

Peccato, riponevo maggiori speranze. Terrò in caldo il G27 per altri titoli.

Visto che devo ancora recuperarlo, preferisco prendere F1 2012 prima di drogarmi di GT6.

la fisica di guida che è una via di mezzo arcade ci sta benone in un gioco così adrenalinico ed esaltante come Grid, l'unico che è riuscito a riprodurre davvero il senso di battaglia e di sfida estrema che si prova in pista contro altri avversari agguerriti per strappargli la vittoria. per questo merita l'acquisto da parte mia anche se non mi piacciono gli arcade

Io lo volevo prendere proprio per il gameplay adrenalinico che ho apprezzato molto nel primo grid, ma visto che in quell'occasione, alla lunga, il piglio arcade mi ha stufato e l'ho abbandonato, a questo giro passo, a meno che non esca una demo che mi faccia cambiare idea.

 

Così a occhio è molto più valido Shift 2, imho.
