Gravity in proporzione non fa male, ma in valore assoluto è comunque un risultato non troppo entusiasmante, meriterebbe di più. Secondo me per il tipo di gioco avrebbe potuto puntare alle 100k first week.

 

Valkyria niente di che, 60k retail senza digitale. Dovrebbe aver superato l'esordio del primo, ma si scorderà le sue gambe. È vero che il gioco è completamente diverso dal passato, ma dopo un'assenza di 6 anni mi aspettavo di meglio.

Nell'osservare il risultato e quelli precedenti risulta sempre più assurda la decisione di spostare la serie su portatili dopo il primo capitolo.

Quel "qualcosa in più" sono 10k copie rispetto alla prima edizione di una nuova ip, ergo non ha attinto al bacino d'utenza portato dalla versione budget che vendette a lungo (altre 100k copie) grazie all'uscita dell'anime.

Praticamente il cambio di piattaforma tagliò le gambe alla crescita della serie, oltre che a cancellare il mercato occidentale (dove il primo VC andò discretamente visto che Sega annunciò di aver distribuito 1m di copie ww, fatte sicuramente poco alla volta), che tra l'altro è rimasto ricettivo per il brand grazie al buonissimo riscontro dell'edizione pc (500k copie da steamspy se non erro, tanto per un remaster vecchio di anni).

Dopo aver gettato le basi, invece di raccogliere hanno spostato la serie su PSP, dove immagino abbia fatto sfaceli a questo punto
