L'annuncio di questa settimana su DQ nelle pagine di Shounen Jump è Dragon Quest Heroes II: Futago no Ou to Yogen no Owari.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End has a different world view from the previous game, and through that a new story will begin. Please look forward to a dramatic story. The ‘giant monsters and crowds of monster-battle action’ that was so popular in the previous game is powered up, of course. There are new ways to play and additions, so please look forward to more news.”

Dragon Quest IV‘s Balzack will appear in the action RPG as a giant boss monster, and the Dragon Quest series’ Treeface, Cyrus, Platypunk, and Winged Sabrecat will also all appear as monsters.

The first screenshot of the game featured in the magazine shows Dragon Quest VI‘s Carver, Dragon Quest VII‘s Maribel, Dragon Quest VI‘s Terry, and Dragon Quest VIII‘s Jessica fighting against the giant Balzack.

Info e scansione da shounen jump:

All five characters introduced this time were designed by Dragon Quest series character designer Akira Toriyama.

  • Razel (Male Protagonist) – A proud novice knight. Officer candidate student in Gywall studying abroad at neighboring country Orenka’s officer school. A passionate guy who is always energetically racing ahead.
  • Tereshia (Female Protagonist) – A fighting female class president. Officer candidate student at Gywall and Razel’s cousin. Provides some levelheadedness to balance Razel’s tendancy to race ahead.
  • Cesare – A prince and commander in chief of the army. Prince of Gywall and childhood friend of the protagonists. Adored for his personality, but unmanageable when he loses his temper.
  • Orneze – The respected “big sister”-esque character of the protagonists. A warrior who serves the Kingdom of Zebion. Famous as the red female warrior who uses a giant ax. Cheerful and reliable.
  • King Zebion – The king of Zebion, a suzerain state comprised of seven countries.

An ancient prophecy in the world of Dragon Quest Heroes II says there will be a battle that involves all seven countries, which has just begun. Tereshia visits Razel, who is studying abroad in Orenka. Their home country Gywall and Orenka are the two countries that trigger the battle, which the protagonists get sucked into.
