FIFA Street Gives EA Top 4 Clean Sweep

EA score a hat-trick with the reboot of ‘FIFA Street’ giving them their third new release in a row to go straight in at No1 (‘Mass Effect 3’ last week and ‘SSX’ the week before).

It’s been a long wait with just over four years since the previous title in the series, ‘FIFA Street 3’, and the reboot has got off to a great start outperforming all the other FIFA Street’s opening week’s sales. EA can also claim to hold all Top 4 positions this week, a feat they’ve only achieved before in weeks 48 and 49 2003 (with FIFA 2004, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun and Need for Speed: Underground).
Last week’s No1 and No2 both shuffle down a place with ‘Mass Effect 3’ (-74%) now at No2 and ‘SSX’ (-60%) at No3, followed by EA’s other football franchise, ‘FIFA 12’ (-21%), holding firm at No4. No5 is also a non-mover with Nintendo’s ‘Mario Party 9’ (-35%) and it’s Mario again at No6 this time teaming up with Sonic in Sega’s ‘Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games’ (-10%). Bethesda’s ‘Rage’ (+47%) storms up the chart from No20 to No7 with 505 Games’ ‘Zumba Fitness’ (+15%) also making headway up from No10 to No8. Ubisoft’s ‘Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ (+1%) makes it a third week at No9 and Activision Blizzard’s ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ (-4%) rounds off the Top 10 at No10. Also new this week is another reboot of a franchise with Sony’s PS3 ‘Twisted Metal’ debuting at No12.

Mmh, i giochi Vita calano ancora tanto...pero', FIFA regge decisamente meglio rispetto agli altri, e queta settimana e' sopra anche ad Uncharted. E' interessante.

Forza 4 ha sempre avuto gambe in UK,e ha fatto un percorso simile se non leggermente migliore di Uncharted 3.

Twisted Metal invece non male,è già tanto che lo troviamo in chart,imho.

vabbe' oh. Adesso manco si puo' dire che e' interessante vedere che FIFA e' il gioco per Vita che sembra reggere meglio. Che sembra capace di attrarre piu' attenzione sul lungo termine. Vabbe', se le cose stanno cosi', meglio allontanarsi da questa sezione per un po'

Si', hai ragione, comunque.

Pero', ci sarebbe bisogno di altra gente che legge la sezione ed interviene, cosi' per renderla piu' viva, facce nuove, e ci sono state delle iniziative come le scommesse proprio intese verso un allargamento dell'utenza della sezione e robe cosí. Basta non siano tutti troll.

Non ricordo un Fifa al lancio del 3DS, o un titolo che in genere ha gambe come Uncharted.
Un poco sciocchino come paragone, la line-up era decisamente più povera.

@Darth:Bè,io in quei dati ci leggo ciò che è palese (intendo Vita=3 titoli 3DS=2 titoli)


Intanto Vita è appena stata lanciata,e poi è meglio piazzata come supporto occidentale.Allo stesso tempo,quei 2 titoli 3DS però sono stati lanciati PRIMA del passato natale,qualcuno di quei titoli Vita potrà fare altrettanto?


COmunque direi che è ancora troppo presto per valutare Vita,e comunque non se ne può capire molto,per quanto riguarda le vendite HW
