Square Enix will release a new Final Fantasy XV update on April 27, adding a new PlayStation 4 Pro mode, Timed Quest ranking feature, and more.

 

Here is the list of changes:

• New “Stable Mode” added to the PlayStation 4 Pro resolution options. With this mode, you can comfortably enjoy playing the game with a stable frame rate.
• Subtitles, as well as some menu screen text sizes have been enlarged.
• Timed Quests will start up again, and a new ranking feature has been added. You can get a wonderful weapon as an initial reward.
• New car stickers added for Regalia customization.
• New songs added to the music player.

Giusto per farmi conoscere e dire la mia in ogni dove, brevemente:

 

sto gioco me l'ha messo in cul0: atteso come dio dal lontano 2006 fino al 2013. Poi, cominciando a prendere atto che stava venendo fuori qualcosa di diverso da quanto mi aspettavo, ed essendo anche un po' cambiati i miei gusti negli anni, l'hype è cominciato a calare e, soprattutto con l'annuncio di Persona 5, il gioco mi è passato in secondo piano. Ma è riuscito a rimanere il mio secondo titolo di maggior interesse (appunto dietro alla gioia Atlus, imbattibilissima sin da quando ho visto il trailer#1, che ha risvegliato in me l'amore per P3 e P4, andato sopito nel tempo). Fino al 2015, dove tra trailer e robe varie, ho cominciato a capire che il gioco era un quasi-fail per me. Mio fratello me l'ha regalato al D1. Ma il fatto che lo aggiornino col tempo, e le recensioni che vanno a criticarlo proprio laddove io volevo fosse eccellente, mi hanno fatto calare l'hype a minimi storici. Ora è sulla mia mensola, pigro, a guardarmi, da dicembre. Chissà quando lo inizierò. Di sicuro quest'anno, ma chissà quando.

Magari lo troverò pure buono/ottimo, ma resta che l'ho divinizzato per anni immaginando qualcosa che non era.

L'update del 27 aprile includerà anche la Afrosword:

 

The April 27 update for Final Fantasy XV will include the “Afrosword,” a DJ deck-themed weapon that changes the background music to a new song from Afrojack when equipped, Square Enix announced.

The Afrosword will be obtainable as a reward to those who complete one of the game’s Timed Quests.
