Ad accompagnare The Oath in Felghana, arriva questo tentativo di Falcom di realizzare qualcosa di simile ai recenti Dissidia e ToVS.
Anche per questo non ci sono scan ancora, ma il titolo in questione è presente sulle pagine di dengeki, ed è previsto per un generico 2010.
Dalle descrizione sembra ci siano Adol, Estelle, Dogi, Yoshua ed altri, che si affronteranno in arene spaziose per un massimo di 4 personaggi contemporaneamente.
Confermato lo story mode.

dal titolo pensavo fosse un topic dove si parlava quale delle 2 serie avesse le musiche migliori, o robe del genere....

e invece, Falcom è caduta pure nei nell'ingranaggio del commerciale più bieco che poi lei no ha affatto la stessa qauntità di fan di un FF o di un Tales, mi domando quindi che cavolo ha in mente.

Non saranno questi i giochi che arriveranno in america spero...

in america vorrei ricordare che è arrivato anche Spectral vs Generations.. quando praticamente la fanbase era praticamente giapponese al 95% .. infatti oltre che essere un gioco patetico, non se lo è cagato nessuno ;D

io Spectral vs Generations me lo sono comprato però mi pare che sia uscito solo in europa e non america.

Sul forum di Ancient Land of Ys hanno tradotto parti dell'intervista presente su Dengeki:

PSP Ys vs Sora no Kiseki
- They've been wanting to make a game that supports cooperative and competitive play on the PSP for a while.
- The Sora no Kiseki characters have plenty of attacks and moves so they ended up wondering if they'd be good in an action game.
- It's the first time Falcom have tried making a game like this, so they wanted to have a go at it.
- Development began after they finished Ys 7.
- After releasing both series on the PSP they've heard from a lot of new fans and want to give them a treat, so to speak.
- They haven't decided on the number of characters that will be included - there are currently 40 characters on the list of potential candidates, and they'd like to please as many fans as possible.
- The feel is quite close to Ys 7, with destructable obstacles and warp points, making the game simple and quick to operate.
- The maps will be more evolved than those in Ys 7 - the ones in the screenshots are just examples.
- They're thinking about support for more than just 1 vs 1 battles - 1 vs 3, 2 vs 2 etc.
- They'd like to continue the Vs series in the future.
- Every character will have a scenario in story mode, and they'll still playing with various ideas of what could work for the scenarios - it's also possible you'll be able to group together against a huge boss, or even operate the bosses yourself.
- Weapons, armour, skills, support characters etc are planned, so there'll be plenty of ways to have fun in the game.
- They're naturally putting a lot of effort into the music, and there will arranges of existing tracks.
- The game will be designed so those not so great with action games can still enjoy it without problems, but balanced so that those familiar with the genre won't have it easy either. Difficult levels I assume.
- Development is very much an ongoing thing, so even the chairman himself has no idea where it's going to end up, but they're enjoying working on it right now.

Plans for the future:
- Also in 2010 after Felghana PSP and Ys vs Sora no Kiseki, they'll release the game everyone's been waiting for. (2ch's already joking they don't mean LoH7, they mean 7 PC)
- They'll also keep expanding to other types of goods, including drama CDs and the like.
- They'd like to challenge hardware other than the PSP.

io lo ripeto ancora, Falcom potrebbe tentare la strada del digital delivery.
Live Arcade e PSN coi i suoi giochi per PC degli ultimi 8 anni.
E' una via abbastanza sicura, ha copertura totale sulla dstribuzione (controsenso invero, non esiste distribuzione col DD) e, volendo, senza spendere una lira sui publisher, conversioni perfette....

Se vuole puntare ad altro oltre la psp, quel metodo per ora è forse il più veloce.

ma sbaglio è Dogi è ancora in "fat style"...
Comunque più che un picchiaduro, da quei 2 screed azzarderei più una roba stile Destrega, o ancora meglio Power Stone 2.

Falcom Dishes More Ys VS Sora no Kiseki Details

Nihon Falcom today officially confirmed the release details of its upcoming PlayStation Portable title Ys VS Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga. The game will incorporate an improved version of Ys SEVEN's battle system. What is more, Ys VS Sora no Kiseki is set to become the first Falcom title to feature an online battle mode supporting up to four players (via the PSP's ad-hoc function). Moreover, the game's diagloues will be fully voiced.

Ys VS Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga will be available in Japan on July 29th. The standard version will retail for 6,090 yen ($67.28 USD), whereas the limited edition will cost 7,980 yen ($88.16 USD). The latter will ship with a special drama disc.
