Riassunto.

Compress the Plan into 5 episodes
The three hours will be added to the next two seasons

There can be no paradoxes in the use of the time travel. They cannot change what we have seen. However, they did not say that the timeline couldn't be changed. But, what we see is real.

Prehash on the 'Other Woman' refers to the 'other' woman, Juliet
Is she one of the Oceanic 6? We will know by ep 7.

Where are the others?
We will learn where they are specifically. There will be hints in "'the other' woman." There will be more of Richard Alpert.

My Notes on the podcast...

On he Oceanic 8, it doesn't matter who the other 2 are that died. Just the '6.'

Geography Lesson: certain special places on the globe that are important to the island like: Ayers rock, Tunisia (where the Polar Bear was found)

Why the name Eggtown? because it dealt with eggs. Not a reference to bad deals or children's books.

Was the memory game testing the effects of the island on memories. It is more likely that Daniel has a pre-existing memory problem prior to arriving on the island.

Orchid and time travelling will be revisited soon.

CURRENT STATUS

-Writers had to write five scripts in six weeks, two are down, one is still being rewritten.

-The two-hour finale is going to air separate hours this year.

REHASH OF "THE OTHER WOMAN"

-The Tempest is important. It was on Kelvin's Blast Door Map. It was the writers' attempt to do a little island history, to answer a few questions about the Others. The idea that the Dharma Initiative also had a station whose primary manufacture was chemical weaponry was an interesting story point. This can interpreted in different ways: that Dharma was not entirely peaceful, or that Dharma was aware of hostile forces on the island and used the gas to protect themselves.

-The Charles Widmore video: It's a big reveal. Charles Widmore sent the boat. Ben probably knows why Widmore is looking for the island, but may not be telling the full truth. We will find out whether Ben is telling the full truth by the end of this season.

-This episode is not the last we've seen of Harper Stanhope.

PREHASH OF "JI YEON"

-We will find out who Ben's man on the boat is.

-It will be about Sun and Jin.

-By the end of it, many questions about the identities of the Oceanic Six will be answered.

QUESTIONS

-What parts of Lost are canon? Are the video game and Find 815 canon?

The issue of canon is very tricky. If it's in the show, it's canon. For the remainder of the material, it depends on how much time and influence the executive staff have to assure the quality of all output. The Mobisodes and the Orchid video were written, produced and directed by the main staff, so they qualify as canon. However, the only thing that you really need to follow to really know everything there is to know about Lost is the show.

-A few fun questions about what would happen if Lost characters ever came across Gilligan's Island characters on the show.

-In one of the mobisodes, Christian Shephard tells Vincent to wake Jack up. In "The Beginning of the End", the figure in Jacob's cabin can be identified as Christian. In "White Rabbit", Christian's coffin was found empty. So where is Jack's dad, and will we see him more?

We will be seeing more of him. It's a good question to ponder what exactly his role is. And it was a good observation that it was indeed him in Jacob's cabin.

-Will we see the smoke monster again?

Yes. But the rule with the smoke monster is that every time it is shown, its mythology is evolved a little further, so you learn something about it that you didn't know before.

-Locke was cool in season one. However, his more recent actions have been doubtful. Will his actions eventually be redeemed? Will his seemingly strange antics all serve a purpose?

Locke is on a journey, and like all journeys it has periods of doubting, uncertainty and frustration. There is a lot more to come about what his purpose is, and we will see an energized and activated Locke even in this season.

-What happened at the end of the Via Domus video game?

It wasn't all a dream. The writers are not interested in "all a dream" storytelling. But it's outside canon anyway.

-Does Kris White actually have a job on the show or is he just a random guy found somewhere?

Yes, he does have a job. Kris White works at ABC and does lots of things to help promote, publicize, market, podcast and extend the reach of the Lost empire and other Disney products.

TEASERS

-Ji Yeon is a Korean name.

-Next podcast will be after "Season 4 Episode 8". Kevin Johnson will be an important character. We will meet him in this episode, otherwise it would be an even more questioned episode title than "Eggtown".

certo... vallo a dire a mr eko...

Nuovo podcast

http://ll.media.abc....95e_1604375.mp3

*Shocking twist for the finale will not be the final scene, but close to the end of the episode.
*Oceanic Six are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Aaron.
*Tom (Mr. Friendly) is indeed gay.
*Desmond/Minkowski "side effects" may indeed be the "Sickness" that Rouseau refers to... (they hint at it very strongly)
*The Swan Hatch implosion will probably not be revisited. However, we have not seen the last of the "purple sky" this season.
*They explain the appearance of certain paranormal events and what they are....
Ben's mother=apparition
Sawyer's Boar=animal
Spider=monster
Hurley bird=no comment
Dave=apparation/imagination
Yemi=Monster
Kate's horse=undead
Mikhail' Cat Nadia=animal
Walt=some have been apparition, some have been monster
Boone in Locke's dream=dream
*Lapidus name in Expose script that Hurley read is just a name one of the writers in fond of.
*Is Aaron in danger since he is being "Raised by Another"? The psychic told Claire that she must raise the baby herself. They leave it up to the viewers if you believe if the psychic is real or not.
*Significance of name Kevin Johnson.....the Others chose the most innocuous and bland name they could so as not to raise suspicion and raise attention to Michael's alias.
*Will learn much more about four-toed statue and Black Rock.
*Secret code name for the finale twist "The Frozen Donkey Wheel"
*Episode 4.09 will be called "The Shape of Things to Come".

Ecco un riassunto molto più esteso dell'ultimo podcast.

The podcast began with Lindelof and Cuse promising to reveal the code name for the Season Four finale at the end of the session. The previous three code names were: The Bagel, The Challah, and The Rattlesnake in the Mailbox.

They went out of their way to say that the code name is not for the final scene of Season Four; it's for a scene before the very end that is most significant. They reiterated that the final scene of this year's finale is NOT a jaw-dropper.

The funniest part of the podcast was that a fire alarm went off while they were talking and they needed to evacuate!

Once they returned, it was entirely a fan question and answer format. I did my best to summarize the questions and their respective responses:

Q. Who are the Oceanic Six?
A. We, on a past podcast, said that you would know who the Oceanic Six were by the end of the seventh episode. This morning, we debated about listing them out for you on today's podcast because we are loath to disseminate information that is critical to the show on a forum that is outside of the show. But we're in a catch-22, because what we didn't anticipate was that people would not be clear as to who the O6 were by now, because they always think we're up to shenanigans. We are not up to any shenanigans, you've seen Jin's gravestone, you've seen all of the Oceanic Six on screen, you should be able to deduce who they are, but yes, there is a scene in a future episode where you see all of The Six together, and it will be confirmed for you. We wanted everyone to go into the seventh episode thinking that they were seeing flash-forwards of both Sun and Jin, so that it wasn't until the very end of the episode that it's revealed that Jin is dead, and that his date of death is listed as the date of the crash, so at that point you would realize that his scenes were flashbacks. ABC did confirm the six members of the Oceanic Six at the trailer of the end of the eighth episode, however, which they ran by us first.

Q. Is Tom gay?
A. Yes. We have long hinted that there was a gay character on the show, and back in Season Three when he said that Kate was "not his type," that was a hint.

Q. Minkowski and Desmond have experienced side effects from the Island. Why didn't Desmond experience them before when he took off on the sailboat? Why aren't others experiencing them? I hope you have a coherent explanation for all of this. [e: If you remember, when Locke took over pressing the button in the Swan, Desmond busted out of the hatch and left on a boat... only to show up again later (drunk) because the boat just went in circles]
A. We think we have a coherent explanation, not all of which we can detail here just yet. But there is a difference between whether or not you are inside or outside the realm of the Island. When Desmond left before, he was just going in circles, so he probably wasn't outside the realm of the Island. And remember when Ben told Michael how to leave, he told him a very specific bearing to stay on. Faraday told Frank not to stray from a very specific bearing as well. It's basically like when space shuttles leave and enter the Earth's atmosphere, they have to do so at a very specific angle, otherwise they will burn up. Also, remember that Desmond did experience intense electromagnetic radiation when he turned the fail-safe key, which may make him susceptible to effects that others may not be susceptible to. These side effects may not be that different from "the sickness" that has been mentioned before on this show...

Q. Are we ever going to see what's happened to the hatch after Desmond turned the fail-safe key? Are we going to see how Desmond, Locke and Eko ended up outside of the hatch? Are we going to see a purple sky again?
A. We are not going to go back and replay any more details about the Swan hatch imploding. The characters were blown out somehow. Yes, we will have another electromagnetic event on the show, which causes the sky to turn purple.

Q. Will you comment on the significance of the visions on the show? Are they all the monster, are they apparitions, are they actual animals, or just in the characters' heads?
A.
Ben's mother: Apparition
Wild boar (from an early Sawyer episode): Animal
Spider that paralyzed Nikki: Monster
Bird that cries "Hurley": No comment
Dave: Imagination and apparition
Yemi: Monster
Patchy's cat named Nadia (like Sayid's Nadia): Animal and coincidence
Walt: The character of Walt is a person. When Walt appears to other characters, that could be an apparition and/or the monster.
Kate's horse: Undead [e: he also listed Christian Shephard and Yemi as "undead," despite what he said about Yemi above]

Q. Is Aaron in danger now that he is being raised by Kate? In "Raised by Another," the psychic told Claire that she must be the one to raise Aaron or something bad would happen. Now that Kate is raising him, is he in danger, and are others around him in danger? Does Jack perhaps know this and that is why he doesn't want to see him?
A. Yes, Aaron is in danger. The psychic did say that in Season One, but we did see the psychic again in Season Two, where he claimed to be nothing more than a scam artist (to Eko). So it depends on what you believe... if you believe he really did have a vision about the baby, then yes, Aaron is in danger. If you believe he was just a scam artist, then Aaron is perfectly fine. I said Aaron was in danger at the outset because Kate is a known murderer who blows up houses and the men in her life... well, she has a bad track record, so if I were Aaron, as soon as I could walk I would get away from her.

Q. Is Charlotte a cultural anthropologist (what Ben said her degree was in) or an archaeologist (since we saw her at the dig site)? Will we ever see a flashback about the Black Rock or the four-toed statue?
A. You will learn more about the Black Rock and the four-toed statue, but not necessarily in a flashback. Charlotte's degree is in cultural anthropology, but she's a closet archaeologist. The fact that Charlotte is a cultural anthropologist has meaning... those people study ancient civilizations. Ancient civilizations.

And finally...
Q. What is the code name for the Season Four finale?
A. The Frozen Donkey Wheel. Seriously.

[e: from what I've seen on the boards the general consensus of the meaning of TFDW is: "A donkey wheel is a means of powering something, using a donkey (beast of burden) as motive power. So freezing it would stop it in its tracks." I personally think this means that either all theories are going to be blown out of the water by whatever happens in the finale, or... a more literal interpretation could be that whatever is powering the Island is going to be shut down and all hell will break loose.]

The moderator ended by mentioning that the name of the ninth episode is: "The Shape of Things to Come."

Penso che intendano che non andranno nel dettaglio di quella situazione ma che spiegheranno invece il "somehow" in altre circostanze e allora basterà fare 2+2 e si avrà in automatico la risposta anche per quella situazione.
