Ecco tutto quello che si sa finora

Occurences on the outside world

-It was hinted by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse in 'Lost : The Answers' that rescue wouldn't necessarily mean the end of the show.
-Some may make it off The Island and some may have to remain on it through force (i.e. pregnant women)
-Damon and Carlton also hinted that the show will be taking a whole other direction and this was made clear by the last 5 minutes of the finale see Through The Looking Glass, which seemed to be a flash forward of Kate and Jack on the outside world.

Occurences on the Island

Timeline
-The survivors will celebrate Christmas on the island sometime in Season 4.
-Season four will span over 16 episodes. From this, it is not unreasonable to assume that the season will last somewhere between two and four weeks island time.

Location
-Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: The four-toed statue is very important but won't be addressed until season 4.

Main Cast

-The season three finale makes it clear that all main credited characters excepting Dominic Monaghan will be back for at least part of Season 4.

Juliet
-Dr. Juliet Burke is sticking around for the foreseeable future

Ben
-Ben was not the only member of DHARMA who joined the others.

Guest star/recurring characters

Jacob
-Jacob is a character who is every bit as significant to our universe as the Emperor was to the Star Wars universe. Jacob is a guy who is going to have a very significant, ongoing sort of story value in our show.
-Jacob is a question for season four.

Annie
-What happened to Annie is another chapter of Ben's story that will be seen at some point.

Mrs. Hawking
-Lindelof: You will be seeing her again.

Richard Alpert
-I'm hearing that Nestor Carbonell has been asked to be a regular cast for the next season.

Rousseau
-Danielle Rousseau may pop up in another character's flashback.
-There will be a Rousseau flashback eventually. In it, it will talk about Montand and his arm.
-We'll find out what happened to Candle's hand and Montand's arm. Probably fourth season along with Rousseau flashbacks

Penny
-Penny is an important character to the overarching mythology of show

Richard Malkin
-Claire's psychic and his visions for Claire and her baby's future will be revisited.

Former Cast

Michael and Walt
-We will see more of Michael and Walt [Not just a cameo from the 3rd season finale]
-Carlton Cuse: We will only go back to Walt and Michael once we have the sufficient knowledge to comprehend what the writers want to show us.
-Cuse: There's a circularity to the way that story is going to unfold in the overall mythology, and that is a long, planned approach. Yes, we'll get back to the Michael and Walt story, and it will be really compelling when we do. But that's most likely a year 4 story.
-Harold Perrineau is trying to figure out if he can get back next season and do other work as well
-The others targeted Walt because they are interested in children with special abilities. This will be explored in the next episodes
-According to Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, "the growth of Malcolm David Kelly (Walt) will be addressed"

Libby
-Lindelof: "We would love to tell the rest of Libby's story, it’s just a question of whether we get to it. I think we're going to try to tell the stories of our regular characters before we do that." Damon: "Obviously, we have a couple more beats of Libby’s story to tell to fill in the missing pieces, and the way we would tell that story is in the flashbacks of another character. But that character can’t be a character that we already know and love, otherwise they would recognize Libby. We know who those characters are and what those story beats are, but it might be a while before we get to their flashbacks."
-Cuse: Given everything else we have to tell, Libby’s story is going to be a mystery that's going to have to get answered in year 4. Lindelof: There's really one significant missing piece to Libby's story. How did she get from A to B—from Desmond to the mental institution? We know the answer to that question, but the only way to tell that story is through another character's flashback, and that character would have to be another character on the show who is not among the beach dwellers.

Notizie da Darkufo sul format della prossima stagione

JUST GOT CONFIRMATION
by The Real MiraJeff May 24th, 2007
07:12:42 PM
Next season of Lost will feature BOTH flashbacks and flash-forwards.

Credo che questo escluda la possibilità di portare totalmente la serie nel 2007 con flashback dell'isola.

Inoltre intervista a Michael Emerson (Ben)

Among those blown away by Wednesday's season finale of Lost was cast member Michael Emerson, who plays arch-villain (or misunderstood savior?) Ben. We caught the actor at last night's Brittania Ball on the Queen Mary 2. Now that the episode's aired, Emerson was able to be more forthcoming than he was when we interviewed him earlier this week — except that he's just as flummoxed as the rest of us about what lies ahead for the Lost ones.

Now that the finale has aired, do you have any freaking clue what’s going to happen when you start shooting again?
No, because I didn't know what the end of the episode was until I watched it. That was a secret scene with Jack and Kate — only Matthew [Fox] and Evangeline [Lilly] were given that text and it was shot in secret. I had to wait until last night to have this earth-shattering revelation: Now not only are we going to live in the present and the past, but also the future. And the little things they dropped made my hair stand on end!

Like what?
Kate and Jack got off the island somehow, but other castaways didn’t, and they’re sick about it. And who’s in the coffin? And who is Kate living with?

Sawyer?
Or is he dead or on the island?

Do you have sympathy for Ben's character?
I have full sympathy. I believe he has a mission and an agenda that he hasn’t shared with us yet. The survival of the earth may depend on Ben’s work, so it justifies his ruthless behavior. Maybe I’m just fantasizing or deluding myself.

Is Naomi, the British woman who parachuted from above, really bad news?
She’s a messenger from the dark side. I think we can take Ben at his word. Whoever is on the boat that they just called mean them no good. As soon as we’re in season four, I think we’re gonna discover that everyone is in deep trouble.

Episode 4x01 TITLE UNKNOWN ?-Centric

mancando tre stagione direi:
